You can expect 9 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, Wi-Fi, and 5 TVs with Smart TVs. A small garden with seating, a barbecue, and a beautiful view is also available.
The tranquil, tastefully furnished wellness area with sauna and relaxation room completes the offering. You're sure to find a book to browse in the library.
The meeting point and lounge is the bakery with its original seating, a wood-fired oven, the old Dukebox and a kitchenette.
A special luxury is the newly installed elevator. This makes the bedrooms accessible without barriers.
The historic hospital was renovated and restored over several years. Existing rubble stone walls and exposed timber framing were preserved and skillfully integrated into the newly created rooms. Ecological and organic materials were given preference, and the walls were finished with clay plaster. The result is cozy rooms, lovingly furnished and equipped to a high standard. The balconies offer stunning views of nature: kites circle overhead, sheep graze, and occasionally a rooster crows.
Four fully equipped kitchens with ovens, dishwashers, and hobs invite you to prepare meals. These can be enjoyed in the adjoining living and dining area or in the communal kitchen/bakery.
The bakery has a wood-fired oven for baking crusty farmhouse bread, pizza, or tarte flambée. Delicious steaks, crisp sausages, or a nice roast taste superb. Recipes are available.
A kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, food processor, and a KitchenAid stovetop for preparing dough is available. Well-stocked cupboards with dishes from the 1950s are also provided.
While baking, you can play the jukebox, which is stocked with songs from the 70s and 80s. You'll need 2 DM coins for it; do you have any lying around? Or you can simply sit comfortably with friends and chat…
The small garden is equipped with a grill for wood or charcoal. You can prepare campfire bread, steaks, and other grilled specialties. Seating is available.

A washing machine and dryer are available.
Please note: The landlord lives in another apartment in the building.
Bicycles can be stored securely inside the house.
A small library is interesting for both adults and children, and toys are available for children.
Parking spaces for your vehicles are available either directly at the house or in the immediate vicinity.

Here you'll find fantastic group accommodation in a historic building. The historic hospital in Dornstetten is hundreds of years old and underwent extensive and comprehensive renovation in 2019, resulting in an exceptionally tasteful holiday home that opened in 2020.
You will sleep in the 9 bedrooms spread across 3 floors:

Upon request, we can provide you with baby equipment ranging from a travel cot to a high chair.
On the third floor, we have created a wellness oasis for you. Here, you can enjoy a truly idyllic sauna experience. The rain shower guarantees a refreshing cool-down. The high-quality, comfortable sauna loungers invite you to relax. A warm foot bath prevents you from sweating afterward. The combination of old and new creates a pleasant atmosphere. Various lamps enhance the feeling of well-being.
Through the built-in skylights you can look up at the sky, at the tops of the Black Forest fir trees or at the tower of our St. Martin's Church.

Perched atop the city walls, this holiday home offers not only sweeping panoramic views of the Black Forest but also proximity to the historic old town. The medieval town of Dornstetten has much to offer, so that in addition to everyday amenities, small cafes and bars are within easy walking distance. The enchanting old town with its half-timbered houses, medieval market square, and charming shops can also be explored on foot. Cultural attractions in Dornstetten include a guided tour of the historic old town, the local history museum, the doll and toy museum, and the summer open-air theater. In Hallwangen, a district of Dornstetten, there is a barefoot park and a high ropes course , where nature can be experienced with all the senses.

Freudenstadt, with Germany's largest market square, is only 8 km away. The Black Forest High Road is a highlight in both summer and winter, featuring the Lothar Path for running and learning, winter sports facilities, and ski lifts. The major cities of Baden-Württemberg, such as Stuttgart, Freiburg, Karlsruhe, and Baden-Baden, as well as Lake Constance, can be reached in about an hour by car.
