Alpirsbach offers a rich range of cultural institutions and events, such as the Black Forest Music Festival and the Alpirsbach Cloister Concerts .
The Benedictine monastery is a former monastery built in the Romanesque style. The cloister is Gothic. It was consecrated on January 16, 1095, by Bishop Gebhard of Constance. Alpirsbach Monastery is open to visitors. It is a state-owned monument and is managed by the State Palaces and Gardens of Baden-Württemberg . The monastery church is available to the Protestant congregation for their services, while the Catholic parish uses a hall on the south side as a chapel. Be sure to also see the unique new organ sculpture.

Alpirsbach is renowned for its cloister concerts, which delight classical music lovers throughout the summer. The unique atmosphere, acoustics, and setting are unforgettable. These concerts are a regionally and nationally recognized musical event, drawing people from near and far to the monastery town.
