Take a journey back in time. Lots of wood, old beams, antiques and cozy tiled stoves contribute to a pleasant and warm living environment. An enchanted rose garden invites you to linger.
The Vogtshof impresses with its faithfully restored interior, such as old visible beams, wooden bar doors and lattice sliding windows. Upstairs in the farmhouse parlor, with the original paneling, there is a large tiled stove that is fired from the kitchen and heats both the parlor and the kitchen. There is also a tiled stove on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped kitchen and there are bathrooms on both floors. Except for the old farmhouse room with its original wooden floors, all rooms are equipped with underfloor heating and there are radiators in the room. In the garden there is a sandpit and a swing for our little visitors, while the older ones can make themselves comfortable in the garden lounge.
Your landlords, the 7-member Schrempp/Dieterle family, say about the Vogtshof: “We always enjoyed living in the rustic Vogtshof and, especially in winter, enjoyed the homely atmosphere by the warm tiled stove. In summer, the large, romantic garden with its many lovingly cared for rose bushes invites you to linger. The Vogtshof was restored in an old style using natural materials and thus offers a very pleasant living environment. You can easily feel like you have been transported back 100 years and yet have all the amenities that today offers. We were reluctant to give away this unique house and so we decided to make it available to other people who appreciate the old as a holiday home and hope that you will feel as comfortable in it as we have for 18 years did.”
The ceiling height varies from room to room. From 2.05m to 2.20m high.

The former Vogtshof of the St. Georgen Monastery is the oldest residential building in the Bühlingen district of Rottweil. A historic building for your vacation in the monument . It was first mentioned in 1380. It is believed that the Vogtshof, as the most important building in the town, was the first to be rebuilt after the end of the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648), in which the whole of Bühlingen burned down. From 1983-87 the house was extensively and professionally restored so that it now comes very close to its original condition and won the Baden-Württemberg State Monument Prize . But modern comfort is also available: all rooms, except the original farmhouse parlour, have underfloor heating. The original floorboards are still present in the living room, which is why radiators were installed here. The living room is a real gem from a bygone era and you will feel wonderfully transported back to a bygone era. The living room also has a basic stove, which is fired from the kitchen and spreads a cozy warmth in winter. There is another basic stove in one of the bedrooms in the basement. The Vogtshof is surrounded by a romantic, approx. 800 m² garden in which the most beautiful roses bloom from spring to the onset of winter. The Vogtshof is located in the quiet Bühlingen district of Baden-Württemberg's oldest city, "Rottweil". Outdoor swimming pool, climbing hall, skater park, Aquasol, tennis hall and tennis courts are only approx. 1.5 km away from the house. The dog run and hiking trails start 300 m from Vogtshof. There are many shopping opportunities within a 2 km radius. The historic town center of Rottweil is 3 km away. There are museums, cafes, galleries, boutiques and restaurants here. The Rottweiler test tower is approx. 7 km away. The Vogtshof is also an ideal starting point for trips to the Black Forest and the Swabian Alb. The open-air museums Gutach and Neuhausen ob Eck are each approx. 40 km away. It is almost 70 km to Lake Constance.
