Our little shingle cottage is an idyllic, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished wooden house nestled right next to the Black Forest, complete with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Shingle-roofed houses are as much a part of Black Forest architecture as the cuckoo clock is to a traditional Black Forest clock. This authentic style of facade has become increasingly rare over time, as the shingles are crafted with meticulous skill. The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area in Alpirsbach in the Northern Black Forest, offering beautiful panoramic views of the Black Forest mountains. The forest, where scenic hiking trails begin, is just 200 meters away. It takes 10 minutes to get to Loßburg by train. Visit the Vogteiturm or the Loßburger Zauberland. Afterwards we take the rafting path along the beautiful Kinzig Valley with exciting stops.
