Our little Schindelhäusle is an idyllic, comfortably furnished and well-kept shingled wooden house in the Black Forest, close to the forest, with complete facilities so that you can feel at home. Shingle-covered house facades belong to the houses in the Black Forest like the famous cuckoo to the traditional Black Forest clock. This authentic facade has become increasingly rare over time because the shingles are manufactured using elaborate craftsmanship. The large and spacious garden is one of the highlights of this lovingly furnished holiday home and offers plenty of space for relaxation, retreat and cozy get-togethers. At any time of day you can find a sunny spot in the countryside with a view of the Black Forest. It is a very special oasis of peace for a short time or even a few days longer. A perfect place to recharge and gather strength for those in need of rest, but of course also a nice place for families with children. You will feel comfortable here and enjoy the Black Forest peace and air. The 3 bedrooms also offer ideal space for larger families, but individuals, a few friends or a couple can also make themselves comfortable here. The two nostalgic baths are ideal for refreshing yourself after a long hike in the Black Forest.
Just do the things on your vacation here that you might not find as much time or space for at home. In our kitchen you can cook and bake to your heart's content, an apron and pot holders are hanging ready. Or enjoy a break in the Black Forest with a cozy raclette evening.
Do you just want to put your smartphone and tablet aside? Fun game afternoons and evenings can be enjoyed in the dining room. Treat yourself to just sitting comfortably in an armchair or in a corner of the garden, drinking coffee, looking into the distance or reading a book. Have you started one of our books and would you like to finish reading it?... so don't be afraid to take it with you. If you have read a good book but don't want to take it home again, it will surely find a place on the bookshelf and the next person will be happy.

If you're looking for a lot of luxury, this isn't the right place for you, but if you're looking for a few days with lots of nature, without obligations, with lots of shared activities or even individual breaks, always with a view of the Black Forest, you'll feel at home here. The holiday home is located in a quiet residential area in Alpirsbach in the northern Black Forest with a beautiful view of the mountain panorama in the Black Forest. The forest is 200 meters away, where beautiful hiking trails begin.
