Discover the Historisches Waldhaus, a unique jewel in the Black Forest Nature Park that not only breathes history, but also offers modern luxury and an enchanting atmosphere. This listed house from 1923 was created by the Deutsche Werkstätten Dresden as one of the first prefabricated wooden houses in Germany. After over 6,000 hours of careful restoration, it now shines in all its splendor on a picturesque hill in Alpirsbach-Reinerzau .

5 km from the monastery town of Alpirsbach you will find everything you need for everyday shopping. In the immediate vicinity (2 km) you can reach the Kleine Kinzig dam, a water reservoir beautifully located in the middle of the forest.
