The Black Forest is the most visited holiday destination of all low mountain ranges and is the largest contiguous low mountain range in Germany. It is located in a sunny, warm location in the very southwest of Baden-Württemberg.
It is mostly very wooded and extends from the very south of the High Rhine to the Kraichgau in the north. That's why a holiday in the Black Forest holiday home with your dog ideal. The rivers worth highlighting here are: Kinzig (93 km), Enz (105 km), Nagold (90 km), Murg (79 km), Glatt (37 km), Wolfach (31 km) and Schiltach (30 km).
Especially in the northern Black Forest you will find several natural lakes such as the Mummelsee. There are also numerous beautiful reservoirs such as the Schwarzenbach dam in the Murgtal, the Kleine Kinzig dam near Alpirsbach or the Nagold dam, also known as the ore mine in Seewald.
