Historic and idyllic holiday home with wellness lounge with sauna, shower and relaxation area, 5 bedrooms for 10 people in a fantastic location and Black Forest views

The farm, which was completely restored in 2019/2020, is at your sole disposal. It is idyllically located on the edge of the forest on the edge of the Black Forest National Park in the Achertal, in the middle of meadows and without any road traffic. With a lot of love, old beams were exposed, historical structures were preserved and yet modern elements were added. The holiday home has 5 comfortable bedrooms, 4 TVs with satellite and Netflix, a large cooking, dining and living area with a tiled stove and a separate TV room. Also 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and a spacious wellness area. For younger guests there is a playground with a climbing house, sandpit and swing. There is a table football table in the covered outdoor area. The chickens, rabbits, cats and sheep are looking forward to a visit.

The location

The historic farm has stood in an idyllic location, away from the streets and hustle and bustle, since 1810.
Surrounded by meadows and forests, it lies on the edge of the Black Forest National Park. From here you have a wonderful view over the climatic health resort of Ottenhöfen and the surrounding mountain landscape. Ottenhöfen can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. There is a butcher's shop, two bakers and a village shop as well as a pharmacy. Various restaurants look forward to your visit. In summer, the natural adventure pool invites you to swim, run around and relax.

Directions: Coming from the A5 motorway: Exit no. 53 Achern, then turn left towards Schwarzwaldhochstraße and Ottenhöfen. After 15 kilometers you will reach Ottenhöfen. In Ottenhöfen follow the main thoroughfare (= Ruhesteinstraße). Drive through almost the entire town and, just before leaving the town, turn left onto Zieselberg Street. From there it goes uphill. Pass the Köningerhof and turn left at the fork. The access road is quite narrow and when there is oncoming traffic, you sometimes have to drive past each other at alternative places. But there is very little traffic on the road. Please park in the parking lot above the house. From there it is another 50 meters to the holiday home. This path is quite steep.

We were 8 adults and three children of 4.3.2 years. We all liked it very much. The house is furnished with many beautiful details and you feel very comfortable. There were many nice things to discover for the child.
I can only recommend it.

We had a great family weekend for the second time in the Ottenhöfen holiday home.
5 large, comfortable rooms, well-equipped kitchen, playground, outdoor area, animals, forest and of course the spacious sauna area with everything you need.
The entire house is extremely clean and tidy. Lots of nice details and extras for the kids too.

in winter Tip top, nothing to complain about, we would love to come back!
