The eco holiday apartment Offenburg in the south of Germany opened in the summer of 2015. The holiday farm is idyllically located in the countryside in the Prinzbachtal, very close to nature, in this romantic side valley of the Kinzigtal in the Ortenau . The 2 holiday apartments are located on a newly built Black Forest farm. In the Black Forest and Ortenau tradition, a Black Forest farm was rebuilt using wood, which focuses on modern demands for energy efficiency and living comfort. As a design element, subtle wooden elements were incorporated into the modern and brightly furnished holiday apartments. The high-quality interior was made by a local carpenter like a Black Forest parlor using historic wood from the former farm. In a special atmosphere you can spend your holiday on a farm in the Black Forest  (the farm is no longer active) with many excursion destinations, for example to the Europa Park Rust theme park or to Strasbourg. Please note there is only a washing machine and no dryer available.

The farm meets the highest building biology and energy requirements. When building the holiday home, care was taken to ensure that the Schwarzwaldhof was built as an A+ (lowest energy house). Only a small amount of heat is required and this is generated by an ice heater with solar regeneration. This corresponds to the heating oil equivalent of 1.8l/sqm per year. The electricity is generated and stored by our own solar cells. Any consumption peaks are purchased from the green electricity producer. This means your holiday in the Offenburg eco holiday apartments on the farm is CO2 neutral! The holiday apartment farmhouse = FEWO 2 in the house with a separate entrance has 90 m2 of living space and also has two floors. The apartment has space for 4 people and small children. The model for the modern maisonette holiday apartment is the Black Forest farmhouse. A key feature in the living room is the spacious seating area with a corner bench by the bright window. In addition, the stairs are arranged like in old farmhouses. The exposed screed floor completes the modern look of the holiday apartment. The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the holiday apartment. Here are views of the former farm and inn as well as Geroldseck Castle in Ortenau on the wall. The kitchen is very well equipped with an induction hob and valuable kitchen appliances (oven and steamer). WiFi with internet connection is available. You can also find games for your entertainment in the holiday apartments on your farm holiday. On the same level as the living room there is a private terrace that can only be used by you. Here you can use the grill in the evening and end the evening. There is a sofa in the living area, 1 television in the living room, a closet in one bedroom, a shelf in the other bedroom.
