Why not in the beautiful southern Black Forest in places like Blumberg, Waldshut-Tiengen near Schaffhausen? We rent out our special holiday homes in the Northern Black Forest. And we like to go on a trip with our family and stay in a holiday apartment. Since our children are still small - 8 years, 6 years, 3 years and a baby - we don't want to travel such huge distances.
Finding a nice holiday apartment in the Southern Black Forest is not that easy! We have recently also added a holiday apartment in the southern Black Forest to our portfolio: the Titisee holiday apartment in a secluded location near St. Märgen.
Our destination was the German side of the border with Switzerland in the Dielsdorf district north of Zurich - i.e. in the southern Black Forest. But we found very few homes that we liked in the large portals. We found descriptions of holiday apartments on the websites of the places there. Almost everywhere, only the location and telephone number were given - along with details of the rooms. And the real thing you need is a holiday apartment where the number of guests is clearly described.
What we noticed again and again on our exploratory trips: There are hardly any Black Forest holiday homes with dogs in the southern part of the Black Forest low mountain range. We think that's a shame.

The completely renovated farmhouse includes a total of 2 hectares of forest and 1.8 hectares of meadow. You can reach the secluded gem via a 2.4 km long forest path.

We really liked a holiday apartment in the Black Forest There is a lot to offer in the southern Black Forest. For example, a trip to the Schaffhausen waterfalls or to the Blumberg Sauschwänzlebahn is worthwhile. Or to the Waldkirch Parish Church of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven. The southern Black Forest is one of the most beautiful and natural holiday regions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The corner is called the border triangle in relation to Switzerland, France and Germany. The valleys nestle wonderfully nostalgic and romantic along the vineyards and mountain ranges. Over two hundred places have many accommodations.
Did you know what the highest German low mountain range is? Over half is designated as a nature park. The national park project is currently being implemented in the northern Black Forest. The use of the land is environmentally friendly and based on sustainability. Tourism is harmoniously integrated into this.
