Does this sound familiar? You've just returned from your holiday destinations after a hopefully sunny and warm summer break in 2016 and are currently settling back into life at home. You barely make it through the first week back at work and are already wondering: "How much longer can I keep this up? How can I possibly keep working until Christmas? I already need another vacation! What are my next travel destinations and when? I want to experience and discover something new this year, with events and activities. And ideally, affordable luxury holiday destinations..."
Often, after a vacation, quickly feel stressed again, and I actually notice myself longing for a sunny and warm destination, or simply a break with wellness and relaxation before winter arrives. Do you feel the same way?
Really warm and sunny destinations are certainly within reach, but then you have to fly, and especially with small children or a dog that you want to take with you on holiday, that's anything but ideal.
And let's be honest, many travelers and vacationers are happy to avoid flying given the current global political turmoil and problems. We're among them!
Most travelers and vacationers don't have much time left after the summer holidays. A week at most would be possible, and ideally it shouldn't be too expensive, since the main holidays are already over and the budget is already used up!

Relax at off-season prices during the autumn holidays in our luxurious and unique holiday apartments and houses. Enjoy the special amenities including a sauna, whirlpool, fireplace and more.
So there are many reasons to take a holiday in November ... in Germany... if it weren't for the weather? But luckily there's always wellness.
There are opportunities for a wellness break in all sorts of corners of Germany , such as the Baltic Sea (e.g., Usedom), the Bavarian Forest, or the Harz Mountains. Or the southern or northern Black Forest.
For us, the autumn holiday in November usually goes something like this:
We have four children, and almost all of them are in school. What do we do then? We invite my in-laws to look after the children and go away for a few days for a wellness holiday in a nice hotel with a spa program, or in a nice holiday apartment or house with the appropriate spa facilities (however, we won't be going to our own holiday apartments and houses, but we think it would be a good option for you to enjoy some wellness).
Or, in addition to wellness, we might look for something with a nice gourmet program (wine tasting and delicious food). We usually don't even travel very far, driving a maximum of four hours. Often, we even spend our November wellness break as a midweek getaway (the prices are very reasonable) in the Black Forest ( even though we live there ourselves). And yet, the restorative and relaxing effects are still there for the final work rush before Christmas.
