The Alternative Wolf and Bear Park in Bad Rippoldsau, nestled in the Wolf Valley, provides a beautiful and natural new home for nine bears. This wolf and bear park is the only one of its kind in southern Germany. Located just 30 minutes from Alpirsbach and Freudenstadt, it's a dream destination for all vacationers. The enclosure, where the bears and wolves live, covers almost 10 hectares and is designed to ensure the animals' well-being. In addition to the bears, the park is also home to three wolves named Anita, Adi, and Ado.
On the grounds, you'll find a Black Forest cabin built by a local carpenter. Next to it is another beautiful older Black Forest cabin. The park is idyllically situated on the banks of the Fegersbächle stream, between the two districts of Bad Rippoldsau and Schapbach. Surrounded by stunning natural scenery, you can observe animals and learn fascinating facts about bears and wolves at informative displays and information boards. Afterwards, captivated children share stories about the animals and their excursion.
