Be our guest at the charming and cozy "Forsthaus" in Kniebis , the elevated part of Freudenstadt with cross-country ski trails and a downhill ski slope. The Forsthaus is a comfortable accommodation nestled in the woods. It is ideal for anyone wanting to escape the everyday hustle and bustle, enjoy peace and quiet, and love nature. The garden is fenced.
The house has a total of five bedrooms, including four bedrooms with a total of eight beds (plus two children's beds), and a study with a sofa bed. A modern bathroom and an additional guest toilet are available, as well as a spacious kitchen, living room, and dining room.

Feel good and relax in a Black Forest holiday home

For many years, the house was home to the forester from Kniebis and his family, along with the forestry office. After restructuring within the forestry administration, the house became privately owned. In 1993, our grandparents acquired this house. They were great lovers of the Black Forest. As their family grew, they were delighted to finally fulfill their dream of owning a Black Forest house. Our grandparents lived in the house until 2006. Since then, it has been the family's vacation home. Because everyone lives far away, it is rarely used. Now, others can also enjoy this beautiful old forester's lodge.

It is not only situated in a picturesque landscape, but also holds picturesque surprises. Inside the house you will find several paintings. These include works by the Swabian Expressionist Gustav Georg Schopf, the father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather of our family, as well as works by the Heilbronn artist Ergül Ertem (born 1944).

A sandbox, teepee, cricket, badminton, play shop, Playmobil, Lego, Fagus cars, rocking horse, board games and a chalkboard await you children.
