A lovingly furnished and wonderfully equipped holiday home. Everything you could need is there. The new pool is fantastic.

We had a very pleasant stay; everything was clean and the concept was well thought out. The location was lovely and suitable for children.
Our guest card had the wrong week on it, but it was still accepted. Almost all the batteries in the remote control and blinds were dead.

This house beautifully blends old and new. Every need is met. Everything is provided – spotlessly clean – our group (10 adults) was very satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed the house, the courtyard, and the sauna area.

A beautiful holiday home with modern yet historically inspired furnishings. It couldn't be better!

We stayed at the house with friends and small children and had a fantastic time. There was something for everyone, from the sauna and hot tub to the playground and the animals. We'd love to come back.

This lovingly restored farmhouse left nothing to be desired for our two families to enjoy a wonderful week in the Black Forest: barbecue area, playground, pool, animals, sauna, very well-equipped kitchen – even coffee and fresh eggs from their own farm were waiting for us upon arrival. Many thanks to the Basler family for this lovely time!

Magnificent woning. We have two girls here with young children (5 - 9 years old) and had a baby age. The living room is handicapped, the bed is very light and the tents are on-line when we buy it. Mooie omgeving with grandson Leuke wandelingen and Watervallen.

We (10 people, including 4 children aged 2-11) spent wonderful days in this holiday home. A stylishly renovated old farmhouse with beautiful, some very spacious, rooms and a perfectly equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired. There was plenty of crockery, glasses, and pots, and even coffee beans for the automatic coffee machine. There was a large refrigerator plus a drinks fridge, a coveredoutdoor seating area, and a huge sauna area with a great lounge (which we didn't use). The children's playground was fantastic; we could let the kids play there on their own without worry, and they had plenty of space to run around and admire the goats and chickens behind the fence.
And last but not least, the owners were very friendly and helpful!
All in all, everything was superb!

Great holiday home for families with small children. Very lovingly furnished

We were eight adults and three children aged 4, 3, and 2, and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. The house is furnished with many lovely details, and you immediately feel very comfortable. There were lots of fun things for the children to discover.

We had a wonderful family weekend at the Ottenhöfen holiday home for the second time. Five large, comfortable rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a playground, an outdoor area, animals, a forest, and of course, the spacious sauna area with everything you could need. The entire house is exceptionally clean and tidy. Lots of lovely details and extras, especially for the kids. The wood-burning stove makes it really warm and cozy

Great holiday home, very stylish furnishings and fantastic location

A beautifully renovated and decorated holiday home, perfect for relaxing, with top-notch amenities and spotlessly clean. It's a bit noisy, being an old farmhouse. Very quiet location at the end of a cul-de-sac. I wouldn't have wanted to drive there in snow 😬 But you're rewarded with pure idyllic scenery.

A beautiful and modern house with multiple bathrooms and excellent amenities (beds were made, towels were provided, there was plenty of crockery and cooking utensils, a crib, high chairs, a changing table, etc., Wi-Fi, and even an Alexa). Everything was there and very clean.

The house is beautifully designed and very cozy, with top-notch equipment.

We felt right at home. The house was nice and warm. Everything we needed was provided (dishes, towels, etc.). The beds had firm mattresses, and we all slept well! Everything is beautifully decorated, and the sauna is simply fantastic.
We were a work group and always had a fast Wi-Fi connection. The house is situated on a sunny hillside, sowe could enjoy the sunshine outside even when the weather was great. Overall, a wonderful stay with a very friendly host. Thank you so much!

Another great stay in a beautiful holiday home where everything was perfect

We spent a week at the Huber Xaveri farm with our four children (ages 5, 3, 2, and 2). Despite the bad weather, everyone had a fantastic time!
The house has everything you could need, the playground was a huge hit, and the location is perfect for hikes of all lengths and difficulty levels.
A big compliment to the Basler family, who have created a truly unique holiday retreat!

Woning was zeer net, sfeerful furnishing (combinatie nieuw/oud), great!
Everything you need (handbags, coffee, toilet paper, washing machine, sauna,...), great location. Voldoende winkels in het centrum (dal): bakkers, slager, supermarketje, apotheker
Mooi overdekt terras (weids zicht over landscape werd beperkt door enkele orude fruitboompjes)
Omgeving: goede mobiliteit nodig (hellingen/trappen) in en rond de hoeve. Great walking area, mogelijkheid tot zwemmen in open air, leuke uitstappen (Mummelsee, Gengenbach, Baden-Baden, Watervallen: Edelfauengrap en Allergesundheitsen,...)
Small minpuntje for ons, plafond (fororal in keukengedeeltje) was vrij laag.

A beautifully renovated farmhouse, lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail, offering ample space and a fantastic sauna and wellness area. Perfectly equipped – from the kitchen and bedrooms to the bathrooms, sauna, patio, and grounds! Ideal for a family getaway with all generations.

We'd gladly come again anytime. The mill trail was a lovely walk. We were also very pleased with the Benzmühle restaurant.

The house had everything we needed as a family with four toddlers and a baby: a playground, quiet spaces, and perfect amenities. The location was ideal for exploring on foot or by bike.

The attention to detail and the wonderful facilities for our kids impressed us. Our expectations were exceeded and we will definitely come back.

Our short break at the Ottenhöfen holiday home was wonderful again this year! The location is perfect; the children can pet the animals right outside and play on the playground, while the adults can relax in the sauna in the evenings. The large kitchen/living room is ideal for cooking and laughing together in the evenings.
All the rooms are furnished with great attention to detail. It was a fantastic weekend all around! We'll be back next year!

We held a team-building event at the accommodation.
The accommodation is very comfortable and well-equipped. We would have appreciated it if the kitchen had also been equipped with basic kitchen utensils (salt, pepper, sugar, oil, degreaser).
The view was stunning, and the entire accommodation was very clean.
Another positive aspect was the availability of local delicacies (eggs, liqueur, schnapps) for easy purchase on-site.

Seven friends in five rooms – wonderful! Excellent amenities throughout – kitchen and bathrooms were top-notch! We'd love to come back. With good traffic, it's less than two hours from Wiesbaden/Rhine-Main. What more could you ask for?

A dream come true, organized by very nice people!

From first to last impression, it was fantastic! The property and the view are breathtaking. The amenities are excellent. Nothing is lacking. You can enjoy the peace and quiet, but you're also just a short walk from hiking trails or charming restaurants.
A very nice touch: the first fresh eggs from their own farm were already on the table upon arrival. The owners are truly warm and welcoming. We would love to come back.

However, you need to be in good physical condition, as the descent to the house is very steep.

Our family (three generations) spent the weekend in the holiday home and we were all thrilled. There was something for everyone, young and old. The sauna was perfect for relaxing, while the playground and table football were great for running around and playing. The whole place boasts a wonderful atmosphere, attention to detail, and a magnificent view. There wasso much to discover and experience that we would have loved to stay much longer!
