We had a really lovely weekend with very friendly hosts. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful interior design.

We spent an unforgettable weekend at the historic hospital. The place exceeded all our expectations. We made use of everything – the apartments, the old bakehouse, the seating areas around the house – and felt completely at ease. Everything was spotlessly clean, and communication with Ms. Stahl was warm and thorough. I can highly recommend it! 5 stars from us!

We stayed there as a family and rented the whole house. It was a wonderful weekend. The house is fantastic and we felt completely at home. Highly recommended.

We were a group of 15 people, ranging in age from 4 to 57. The apartment layouts were perfect, allowing everyone to have their own space when they wanted. We spent the rest of our time together in the cozy bakery. Cooking and playing board games kept us entertained throughout the event. The bakery, as well as all the apartments, weresuperbly equipped, and we lacked nothing. A major highlight was baking pizzas in the oven. Everything was beautifully and thoughtfully arranged! Many thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Schulz for making such a wonderful family reunion possible.

A clean, well-equipped, and lovingly furnished house with friendly and helpful owners. The organization was straightforward and flexible. Centrally located in a very beautiful village, surrounded by charming and interesting countryside.

I can't say enough about our stay. Our hosts seemed genuinely happy to have us.Her gardens and indoor plants were lovely, and made it feel like a home. We all had plenty of personal space, while enjoying being together.
The unspoiled views from the back balcony were beautiful. Below were rows of community gardens (allotments), flocks of sheep grazing and lovely rolling pastures. Perfectly quiet except for sounds of rural life. Evening sunsets were outstanding. A great place to unwind after a day of exploring with a glass of wine!
Our group consisted of 3 generations, ages between 4 and 74. (from 7 US states) There was something for everyone. (Think elevator and play area with toys!).
Perfect location within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, bakery and ice cream! Beautiful town to explore near other larger places to visit. We felt welcomed by everyone we met. A hidden gem!

The Alte Spital in Dornstetten offers very clean and almost luxurious apartments in a lovingly and professionally restored old house, without losing any of its original charm! It features a fantastic view and a sauna. Ideal for large groups of around 20 people or more, yet with plenty of private spaces and a large common room including a great pizza/flammkuchen/bread oven (made with a real fire)!

To celebrate my father's 90th birthday, 24 family members spent a wonderful time here. We lacked absolutely nothing. The facilities, cleanliness, and flexibility of the owners left nothing to be desired. Thank you so much!

We arrived with 22 people and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is furnished with great attention to detail (a wonderful combination of old and new) and offers plenty of play options even for the youngest guests (the youngest was 3 years old). The kitchen provided ample space for all of us and was very wellequipped. The rooms/apartments were very clean and beautifully furnished with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. All in all, perfect for our family weekend. 🙂

We spent a wonderful four days here with a group of 17.
The facilities left nothing to be desired. The cleanliness throughout the entire house deserves special mention. Whether it was the common room, the apartments, or the spa area, there wasn't a speck of dust to be found, not even in the smallest corner. You can't help but feel comfortable, as the attention to detail is evident everywhere. Historical objects blend seamlessly with modern furnishings, and even after four action-packed days, there was still something new to discover. We can all wholeheartedly recommend this house.

As a large family of 20, we were able to spend our annual family weekend here in a stylish, relaxed, and comfortable atmosphere. The living room, with its fireplace, invites you to cozy get-togethers. The kitchen is directly adjacent, so you can be together even while cooking. It's perfectly equipped. The house also offers privacy and retreat, as you stay in individual apartments. There's also a play area with toys for the children. The elevator, sauna, and jukebox were the icing on the cake. We had a thoroughly relaxing time!

We really liked the large pizza oven room as a shared space for games and meals. The elevator is also a great bonus, especially for children.

Great accommodation with excellent facilities. Ideal for large family gatherings.

Beautiful house in a nice little town

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. A great atmosphere with lovely, thoughtful decoration and ample facilities for a large group. The oven and jukebox were absolute highlights. The perfect place for a weekend getaway with friends and lots of children. Our only minor suggestion for improvement: It would be nice to have the option to darken all the rooms where sleeping accommodations are located.

We were all completely satisfied. We enjoyed the lovely furnishings.
However, the 10:00 AM departure time was too early for us. We were able to extend our stay for a fee.
A 12:00 PM departure time would have been perfect.
It was a wonderful time there!

Our stay as a tour group at this accommodation was simply fantastic! The common room was the highlight, with an impressive pizza oven that provided us with delicious treats, and a jukebox that immediately captured everyone's attention and created a great atmosphere. The rooms were extremely comfortable and modernly furnished, which made our stay very pleasant. Thesauna was another highlight, easy to use and offered the perfect opportunity to relax after an eventful day. Overall, this was a first-class accommodation that we can wholeheartedly recommend for a tour group!

The house has everything you need. It's beautifully furnished, and each apartment has its own wonderful amenities. The former bakery makes a great common room, and we spent some lovely hours there. As someone who enjoys saunas, I was pleasantly surprised by this area. You can't help but feel comfortable in this house.

The whole house was beautifully furnished and well-equipped, it's in a lovely location, and you can walk everywhere in the village. Although Dornstetten is somewhat remote, it was never boring

We booked a short break on a whim. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and well-maintained. We also used the sauna. There's an elevator. The location is excellent, especially quiet. Plenty of parking right outside. Communication with the host was friendly and straightforward.
