The manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle 2 in Freudenstadt is located in the Christophstal valley and is a truly special holiday property. Spend your dream vacation at this unique estate, a manor house built in 1627, in a beautiful, secluded location on the edge of the forest with a game reserve on the Finkenberg hill in the Christophstal valley, offering panoramic views of Freudenstadt. Lovingly and meticulously renovated in 1967 and 2017, the manor house offers a wonderful holiday with family and friends in this unique historic "little castle" with plenty of charm, luxury, and comfort.

The city's market square, measuring 219 x 216 meters, is the largest enclosed market square in Germany . Its layout is modeled after a Nine Men's Morris board. It comprises an upper and lower market square, as well as the Post Office Square. Arcades surround almost the entire market square, inviting visitors to stroll and shop under cover.
Since 1999, the impressive 50 fountains have graced a sloping area measuring 45 x 18 meters. Especially in summer, the market square area around the fountains is a popular spot for families with children. It's much more fun than a visit to the outdoor swimming pool when the little ones run through the fountains on a beautiful day. Afterward, it's time to spread out a picnic blanket on the grass or head to the adjacent children's playground. And of course, it's definitely time for a delicious ice cream at the Soravia ice cream parlor at Market Square 15. Or how about a refreshing beer at the Turmbräu brewery ?

Enjoy a day at the barefoot park in Hallwagen, where the enjoyment has two sides: Children love wandering through the park. But some adults will groan in certain places and be surprised at how sensitive their feet actually are.
The park doesn't have a direct address. Parking is available along Silberwaldstraße. Parking costs €3; otherwise, entry to the park is free. From there, the barefoot park is just a few minutes' walk. You can store your shoes in small lockers in front of the entrance, so you don't need to bring unnecessary luggage. A locker fee of €1 is recommended. From there, a path leads to the first water play area and climbing frame. After overcoming a few small obstacles, you'll reach a small pond. Here, children can dam up the water and see what happens when the sluice gates are opened. It's a great way to cool off and play in the summer.
The path continues through an ankle-deep water feature to a Kneipp facility. The rest of the route leads mostly through the forest, where visitors can enjoy the trail, which offers a variety of sensory experiences, in the shelter of the trees regardless of the weather. The various stations and play equipment are connected by bark mulch.
