The manor house Hofgut Bärenschlössle is the landmark of Freudenstadt, a uniquely situated, manorial estate built in 1627 in a magnificent secluded location on the edge of the forest with a game reserve on the Finkenberg in the Christophstal valley with panoramic views of Freudenstadt.
It is one of the few buildings to have survived the great city fires of 1632 and 1945. Lovingly restored and renovated in 1967 and 2017, it is modernly and tastefully furnished and ideally situated on the edge of the forest, ensuring you have everything you need for an unforgettable holiday.
The impressive 450 m² of living space is divided into two units within the same building, offering 220 m² and 230 m² of living space respectively. Each unit has a separate entrance on different levels and sides of the manor house and its own private outdoor area.
The manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle 2, with its 220 square meters of living space, exudes warmth from its self-supporting timber structure, and the generously proportioned rooms invite you to spend time together and enjoy pleasant hours. The surrounding meadows and the small lake complete the idyllic panorama.
The large, spacious living room with open kitchen and dining room offers plenty of natural light and coziness, and the exposed beams, the tiled stove (not heatable) and thick masonry are special features.
On the first floor there are also two bedrooms (one with a four-poster bed) and a bathroom (with underfloor heating). The spacious spiral staircase leads to the second floor with its three very spacious bedrooms, a living room, a laundry room, and a large bathroom with toilet (and underfloor heating).
There is a terrace with a barbecue.
All kitchens in the Black Forest dream holiday homes are characterized by particularly good equipment, including the kitchen in Bärenschlössle 2.

Christophstal offers numerous opportunities for children and families. Several play and recreation areas are just a few minutes' walk away.
The area around the former ski jump is particularly popular, with its large stainless steel slides leading directly into an adventure and forest playground. Here, children can play, explore, and experience nature.
