Contacting the host regarding the key handover went very smoothly. Someone was always available, even for personal matters.
The house was very clean and completely met our expectations; nothing was lacking. Regarding the house rules, we were initially quite skeptical, but we had no problem adhering to them. I think any reasonable person understands that one should be considerate of the neighbors. In such a small village, where there is absolutely no noise day or night, it's perfectly understandable that parties shouldn't be held, as otherwise the whole village would be wide awake.
Ultimately, we had no inconveniences during our weekend and were able to enjoy everything to the fullest. We will definitely book Landhaus Seewald again next year.

A very cozy and well-equipped holiday home. We stayed there with a group of friends and felt very comfortable. It was especially nice that the house also had so many toys for the little ones.

There were eight of us, plus a dog, and we had nothing planned except hiking and playing games – which is exactly what we did. We had no problems with the decibel meter, even though we played board and card games until 1:00 a.m. I imagine sitting outside until late at night in the summer wouldn't be well-received, as you can hear absolutely everything in this quiet place. The residents probably turn a blind eye on Fridays and Saturdays, but I understand the importance of keeping noise levels down.
Beautiful hiking trails right outside the door, a 24/7 self-service organic farm shop, and two separate common areas were also fantastic. Cooking in the large kitchen was great fun, and the table was big enough for us and our games.
At the end, there was a feedback form, which is a good indicator that the host is always looking to improve.
For future guests, I recommend bringing a handful of dishwasher tablets and toilet paper rolls, just in case.

There are minor things that could be improved, but that would be nitpicking.

We lacked nothing; the furnishings were excellent, the beds comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area is incredibly cozy, and there's plenty of space everywhere. It's a bit of a shame that guests have to be reminded of certain rules (quiet hours, no smoking, don't approach the neighbors' animals, etc.), but the owners have probably learned from experience. We certainly had no problems. Thank you for everything!

Ideal for excursions, cozy evenings with family or simply enjoying nature

The weather wasn't exactly ideal, which made the cozy house prove to be spacious enough for all of us. We had plenty of room to cook in the large, well-equipped kitchen and played games at the large dining table and in the comfortable living room. The bedrooms offered a place to retreat to, and we slept wonderfully. With several bathrooms , there was no crowding.
We even had a barbecue during a break in the rain, and the sauna was a real treat, warming us up after we returned soaking wet from a hike.
We felt very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our far too short time at Landhaus Seewald.
The children were delighted with the toys and picture books provided!

A large house with ample space for togetherness while still offering privacy, plenty of bathrooms, a sauna, a superbly equipped kitchen, a large garden and terrace, immediate assistance with any problems, and a quiet location in a wonderful area with interesting excursion options.
In short, a return visit is highly desirable.

The house was perfect for our large family (8 adults and 10 children aged 0-15). The layout across the different floors and the flexible rooms were fantastic. The sauna was a great size, and the sauna infusion supplies provided were pure luxury. The kitchen was superbly equipped. Only the dining room would have been cramped with more people. It's a shame about the numerous noise restrictions. You can sense the neighbors' dissatisfaction. We didn't actually have any problems with the noise level – the system never triggered.

We spent New Year's Eve with our extended family, including toddlers and dogs, in a beautiful holiday home in Seewald. Unfortunately, the weather forced us to spend the many rainy days indoors – but that meant we could enjoy ourselves to the fullest. Spacious and beautifully furnished rooms were very inviting. Whether cooking, relaxing in the wonderful sauna, or playing in the common room – everyone had a great time and enjoyed themselves immensely.

We arrived as a group of 12 for a long weekend.
The house and the sanitary facilities offered ample space, and the kitchen was also suitable for cooking for the group.
During the day, we enjoyed the surroundings, and in the evenings, we relaxed in the large sauna.
It's true that you have to be mindful of the noise level after 10 p.m. Despite keeping the noise at a reasonable level outside, we were informed that the neighbors were disturbed. However, this was easily remedied the next day, as the indoor area is also quite spacious.
You can understand the neighbors' concerns, though; they're not on vacation, after all, and have their everyday lives.
There's a small farm shop next door offering regional and fresh produce, so you're well catered for.
We can definitely recommend Landhaus Seewald.

A truly wonderful holiday home, superbly equipped. It's in a very idyllic location and has a lovely garden. The only downside is a "nice" neighbor who seems to be bothered by the holiday home and thinks we should keep the windows closed in the summer when we're sitting in the living room (inside) so she can leave her bedroom window open... you just don't get that in the city!

The Seewald country house enjoys a beautiful location on a hill overlooking the Nagold reservoir. Superbly equipped and lovingly furnished, the country house is definitely worth a visit. The helpfulness and friendliness of the property management also deserves special mention. All in all, a wonderful place to stay that we would gladly visit again.

A wonderful country house where tradition and modernity are combined. We stayed in Seewald for four days with 11 adults and 3 children. The house offers plenty of space and comfort, and is situated in a quiet, beautiful location. We highly recommend it.

We booked the holiday home for January 2020 for a total of 18 people and 2 dogs. Communication with the landlord is difficult, as he is brief and to the point, and contact is only possible via email, since only the answering machine picks up.
One week before arrival, we received three emails with attachments containing the house rules... (e.g., violating quiet hours at night or on Sundays and public holidays, and exceeding daytime noise levels, can result in legal penalties for guests, as it is a public nuisance (up to €5000)), which must be observed. Very intimidating... The midday quiet hours are completely outdated and practically impossible to follow with children.
All in all, the house is in a very quiet location, and the garden is inviting for relaxing and playing. The house has everything you need for your stay and even more, including a large room with a projector. One drawback with small children is that there is only a stair gate on the stairs leading down. The other stairs are not secured. The house does NOT have a whirlpool; there is only a bathtub with a bubble function in the ground floor bedroom. The property is not fully fenced, which we would have preferred for our dogs.
Furthermore, the final cleaning fee is supposedly included in the price, but "broom clean" is not enough for the owners. It's best to wipe and clean the windows before departure. Otherwise, you will forfeit part of your security deposit.

The house is very large and spacious, and in a beautiful and quiet location. Everything was tidy and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. The house is very well suited for a large family.
Communication with the landlord was mediocre; questions about costs were answered rather incompletely. To this day, I don't know the price for children, for example. There is a long list of rules regarding behavior during the stay, which could be worded more politely and shouldn't need to be sent five times! This is rather off-putting.
Considering the relatively high price, we expected the beds to be made upon arrival, but we had to do that ourselves, as well as strip the beds.
