I spent a week in the house with our two dogs – a huge thank you for allowing dogs! It was spotlessly clean, completely hassle-free, and I felt very comfortable. Nothing was lacking, there was even a coffee machine. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet – which I really appreciated. I would like tomention one small thing (regarding the description): if you have a large, older dog, the stairs are a bit difficult to manage. This wasn't mentioned in the description, but if you have non-slip dog blankets, you can use them. But that's really nitpicking; otherwise, I would book again immediately, as it's rare to find such a well-maintained, clean, and comfortable holiday home.

The holiday home is in a quiet location, with a terrace and small garden. It's a great place to relax. I would have liked a sun lounger or a chair with an adjustable backrest. Otherwise, the house is well-equipped and very clean. The highlight is the room upstairs.

From the house, you can reachthe Black Forest on foot in just a few minutes. Several beautiful sights can be visited by car. It's well worth it. The house is fully fenced, making it ideal for children and dogs. We've already booked again and are looking forward to spending our seventh holiday there. After three years of renovating our own apartment, it was time for a few days of relaxation. We couldn't have found a better vacation destination than the luxurious Chalet Salzenweiler. Far removed from the hustle and bustle, the chalet sits alone with just a few other houses, seemingly "in the middle of nowhere." There's hardly any traffic, so you truly have peace and quiet. Despite this tranquil setting, bakeries, good restaurants, shops, pharmacies, and banks are all within easy reach.
The sauna was a real treat after long hikes.
The only drawback (hence the one-point deduction in the amenities) was the upper floor. The pleated blinds are unfortunately narrower than the windows. This compromises privacy, as someone could easily look in from outside. You feel like you're being watched in both the bedroom and the bathroom. (The toilet and shower are directly opposite the window.)

The house is in a secluded location and therefore wonderfully quiet. You can take fantastic walks right from the house! The sauna is perfect for relaxing afterwards! The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook at home, and shops are just a 7-8 minute walk away. The garden is small, but that's perfectly adequate at this time of year. We'dlove to come back again; the dogs enjoyed it too! 👍

A very clean and superbly equipped holiday home. It's located right on the edge of a meadow and forest, which is great if you're traveling with a dog. The small but lovely fenced garden is also a plus. Since we had wintery conditions, the garage was invaluable. The property manager was very friendly. We only had contact by phone because everything was in order. Both bathrooms arequite new, especially the one upstairs, which is also very spacious. In fact, the upstairs is huge and very beautiful with its exposed roof beams. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing stay in a small village. One thing to be aware of: the washing machine and dryer are in a separate room next to the garage, meaning you have to leave the house and go downstairs to get to them. This didn't bother us much, though.

Thanks to its peaceful location surrounded by nature, the holiday home is ideal for excursions along beautiful forest trails, and the grounds also make it perfect for dog owners!
The furnishings are very tasteful and comfortable, with the newly renovated outdoor sauna being a particular highlight.
The sun terrace invites you to relax or enjoy atmospheric barbecues under the stars. If you visit during a cooler time of year, you can cozy up in the living room with its wood-burning stove.

Clean and well-maintained; if anything breaks, it's fixed immediately. Quiet location. Pleasant walks are possible right from the house. Loosburg and the nearest shops are a 10-minute drive away. An ideal place for families with children or dogs. We've been guests seven times now, and there will be many more! 😘60a;💚

We only deducted points because, from our personal perspective, the house wasn't quite right for us. The upper floor is only accessible via a rather narrow and steep staircase, the floors on the ground floor creak quite a bit when you walk on them, and the lawn area is rather small because there's a larger sauna (which is very nice!) than shown in the pictures. We traveled with our dog, so we consider this a drawback. However, the property is completely fenced! The cleanliness was excellent, and the property manager, Ms. Feldbinder, was very friendly and helpful. You're right in nature, and it's very quiet.

Unfortunately, we only had three days at the luxury chalet in Salzenweiler, but they were absolutely relaxing, peaceful, and cozy.

Chalet Salzenweiler is exactly what you'd expect from a holiday. It's spotlessly clean, quietly situated, and surrounded by nature. Many hiking trails start right from the house, meaning you don't need a car. We highly recommend this chalet. We go there at least twice a year. Very well-equipped and clean accommodation in a typical Black Forest setting. The spacious, peaceful surroundings with meadows bordering the forest offer opportunities to relax and observe wildlife (foxes, deer, etc.). A perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours.

We really liked it and it was spotlessly clean. Everything was very well-maintained, including the garden. We felt very comfortable.
The only downside was the living room. The two uncomfortable sofa beds were arranged in an unusual way for watching TV. We had to contort ourselves completely! It wasn't very cozy.

The furnishings are truly high-quality, brand new, and completely comprehensive – right down to the butter dish, egg cups, and beautiful wine glasses – all very nicely combined with well-maintained antique items. Arrival was trouble-free, and the contact was extremely friendly. While the garden may be 200 square meters, it's arranged around the house in such a way that there isn't much space for children to run around. The house itself is charmingly decorated.

Fantastic holiday home with all the amenities, situated amidst beautiful nature. We'll be back!

We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful scenery of the Black Forest. The fully fenced garden was especially convenient for us with our dogs, as was the sauna on rainy days. The house's location is fantastic for getting away from it all; however, a car is essential for experiencing life. The house had everythingwe needed, and the manager was helpful and friendly.

The area is very dog-friendly, which is practically the most important thing when you have two dogs.
The house was very clean; we had everything we needed. The vacation was exactly what we needed: peace and quiet and time for ourselves. Due to the current situation, the restaurants in the area weren't open as usual. Therefore, we had to plan ahead and check in advance. But that was mostly very straightforward. We drove short distances to our destinations.

Very quiet location. There was a great Italian restaurant, "Die Perle," in Dornhan, 5 km away. The sauna was fantastic, and the fact that the entire house was fenced in was also a plus, allowing our cat and dog to roam freely.

The house isn't ideal. We stayed at Haus Fronwald in Alpirsbach last year and absolutely loved it. Of course, it's not comparable. We wouldn't go back to Salzenweiler, though. We didn't like the house that much. The fireplace and sauna were great, and so was the scenery.

The house is cozy and very clean. We felt right at home. It's in a wonderfully quiet location in a small village with only a few houses. Hiking trails start right from the doorstep...you're in the woods in just a few minutes. Ideal for dog owners! The kitchen is superbly equipped. You really don't need anything...simply fantastic! The holiday home is perfectly equipped – very beautiful and cozy – including a wood-burning fireplace.
It is in a quiet location with a small (dog-friendly) garden. The surrounding area is ideal for long walks.

The building and furnishings are excellent, with a few minor drawbacks:
The sofa in the living room – the seat cushions constantly slide down, probably because it's a sofa bed.
A second TV in the upstairs bedroom would be nice, as the stairs are quite steep and therefore difficult to climb.
Otherwise, everything is fine.

All in all, it was a wonderful break for our family and dog. It was a sunny November, so we were able to enjoy the lovely garden with its play equipment and walking paths along the edge of the woods, as well as the sauna. The house is very cozy and inviting. We'd love to come back.

are designed for 12, 16, or sometimes more people.

A very relaxing environment in absolute peace and quiet, with upscale furnishings for your comfort. The fireplace creates the perfect ambiance in the evening. The sauna in the garden is a real highlight. The house is equipped with everything you need (garbage bags, fleece, etc.)
