The house is in a very beautiful location, the rooms are very tidy, and the kitchen in particular is excellently equipped.

The house is very beautiful and in a quiet location. Hiking trails start right at the doorstep. The bus stop is a 5-minute walk away. The exhibition and the cleanliness of the house were excellent. We felt very comfortable and highly recommend it.

The four of us dads with our seven children all felt completely at ease. A huge thumbs up! Absolutely nothing to complain about. Quite the opposite, in fact!

Overall very nice, with a small playground and wood-burning stoves.
The water draining from the bathroom and toilets on the upper floor is clearly audible in the bedrooms on the floors below.

Spacious and well-equipped holiday home

It has everything you need, and the living room with the fireplace is very cozy and just what you need after a day outdoors. There were eight of us, and there was more than enough space for everyone.

We stayed at the Schwarzwaldhaus Enzklösterle with our entire family (14 people) and felt very comfortable. The location is quiet and ideal for families with children. Enzklösterle, Bad Wildbad, and Freiburg are all easily accessible by car. The house is beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds, a sauna, and a lovely garden with a playground. We were even greeted with a welcome gift, which we thought was a very nice touch.
We give 5 stars for the excellent service and friendliness!

We held a family gathering at the house. It was perfect in terms of size and location. Everything was provided for the children, the elderly, and even the dog.

A very beautiful and cozy holiday home. The kitchen was superbly equipped; there were even children's plates, cups, and cutlery. The rooms were very spacious. There were five of us adults (grandparents, parents, and children), and we all had plenty of space to retreat to. The house is situated on a hillside, and the outdoor area was optimally utilized.

The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, and there are some lovely hiking trails.
We were somewhat shocked by the prices in the region. A pizza from the next town cost €18, and prices for other attractions and excursions were quite high.
The holiday home itself, however, is fantastic. We were a group of seven adults and six children aged one to nine, and the layout of the house was perfectly adequate.
Communication with the Roth family was excellent. They always responded very quickly and were incredibly helpful and friendly.

Very clean, excellently equipped and furnished, with two wood-burning stoves and a large bathroom upstairs, a sauna downstairs, very bright with high ceilings and wooden beams/a gallery, various options for sitting outside (balcony, terrace, garden), plenty of space and storage in the rooms, quiet location, ideal starting point for hikes. There were six of us, and we felt very comfortable.

Situated just outside of Enzklösterle, a 5 minute drive away, sits this beautiful holiday home on the hill with views over Gompelscheuer. Ideal for 6 adults, with 3 bathrooms, spacious and clean and very comfortable.

Nice garden which is secure for the dog but very very steep so it was not of much use to us, except the bbq area which was nice. Balcony was very nice area too.

The house's hillside location afforded breathtaking views of the landscape from every window. We had to climb many stairs to reach the front door. The house is very well equipped, with ample dishes, cutlery, kitchen appliances, a large dining table with plenty of room for everyone, two washing machines, and a dryer.
Unfortunately, there aren't enough electrical outlets in the kitchen and other rooms. We weren't able to use the lovely playground due to the cool and damp weather. Since we also had to use the guest toilet for washing (there are only two bathrooms), hooks, shelves, and an electrical outlet would have been helpful.
We would have loved to have explored and enjoyed the beautiful landscape and its many tourist attractions even more.

Spacious and well-equipped house. All rooms are very cozy and lovingly furnished. The dining area offers enough space for 12 people, and the living room is very comfortable with a fireplace. The kitchen is very well equipped, for example, with a good coffee machine, large pots and bowls, and Tupperware containers for snacks. The sauna for two people is small but perfectly formed. The outdoor area with its seating area is inviting. Several hiking trails pass right by the house. All in all, highly recommended!

Everything was absolutely wonderful and very nice

We had a lovely stay in Enzklösterle, in a quiet location above the village, with a view of the forest and surrounded by the scents of fir trees, lilacs, and rhododendrons. The hiking trails in the valley are practically right outside the door.

After having to postpone our trip for two years due to the Corona lockdown, we were rewarded with wonderful days at Enzklösterle. Rebooking was no problem at all, thank you for that. With 15 people, we used pretty much every sleeping space. This wasn't a problem for us as a family, since we didn't need a quiet retreat. The fenced garden was perfect for the two dogs who were also with us. We had nothing but dry weather, so we were able to use the terrace and garden as well. Anyone who enjoys hiking in nature will find plenty of opportunities to discover beautiful spots there.

Ideal for 10 people. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, etc. Unfortunately, there are no shops nearby, making it impractical without a car.

This was the first time we had a house with the family. The house was voldeed and was once monitored. For 7 people, the apartment is completely furnished and fully equipped with complete privacy and seeds. Ok the sauna was a plus! Everything he wants is enough. The house is in a rustic setting with a beautiful panoramic view. There are fantastic walking routes, easy access to all wind directions. The 1st (of 2) village(s) have to be ridden from one of the slaan, the ground is not there (so we also know it). We also enjoyed beautiful nature, rust and snow. Wij willen direct terugkomen !!!

We stayed in the Black Forest house for a week with a group of eight. We all enjoyed it very much. The superbly equipped kitchen with its adjoining dining room deserves special mention. We would definitely come back.

A very sleepy region. Unfortunately, many places were closed, regardless of Covid-19. Many restaurants were closed for holidays.
The giant slide was shut.
The area felt somewhat outdated. Many houses were in a 1970s style.
The scenery is very beautiful, but there's a lack of cozy places to stop for refreshments.
It's safe to assume that October isn't the best time to visit this area around Enzklösterle.

If you want to escape from everyday life, the Black Forest House is the perfect place!
Letting your soul unwind is the motto!

An absolutely beautiful holiday home surrounded by nature

We arrived as a large family of 12. We were very impressed with the house and its layout. The garden is very large and beautiful, however, there's a gap in the fence somewhere that the dogs can get through. The surrounding area is fantastic for hiking and walking.

Overall, a very well-maintained property with good, comfortable, and tasteful furnishings. Everyone immediately felt at home. The ideal place to escape the usual stress and unwind. The complete lack of cell phone reception (T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone?) also contributes to this feeling. DSL via Wi-Fi is rather mediocre, but that's probably due to the local conditions, and the homeowner can't be held responsible for that. There is one small drawback, however: every couch/sofa and all mattresses are completely worn out. We would have liked to deduct half a star for this; a full star wouldn't be entirely appropriate, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. Our conclusion: We can wholeheartedly recommend this house and would gladly return ourselves!

This was our second time staying in a Black Forest house owned by the Roth family. The accommodations are very good, with all the appliances you could want for everyday use. The multiple toilets and bathrooms mean that even with a large group of children and adults, there's no feeling of being in each other's way. It's perfect for relaxing and having a wonderful time. Our only complaint: only two dishwasher tablets for four days and a planned group of 12 people is, considering the rental price, quite stingy...
