We spent wonderful days there in November. The house was beautifully and very well-equipped, with fantastic views – everything was perfect.
We only had one wish: more outdoor lighting on the path to and around the sauna cabin. The walk there in the dark was a bit of an adventure…

The holiday home is situated in a quiet area directly adjacent to many hiking trails. It is well-maintained, well-equipped, offers a beautiful view, and has enough space for a large family. Contact with the owner was straightforward and quick.

The house has three floors and is very well-equipped. We all enjoyed it very much. It's located in a very quiet area with few neighboring houses, but that's exactly what we were looking for. You do have to plan your shopping carefully. The nearest supermarket or bakery is about a 15-minute drive away.

Nature lovers will find everything they need at the Reinerzau Kleine Kinzig holiday home.

We had a fantastic five-night short break with our group of friends. We spent most of our time hiking in the surrounding area, which offers truly beautiful and peaceful trails. Of course, a visit to Alpirsbach Monastery and the brewery was also a must. Since we weren't all couples, we had all the rooms booked
We didn't use the sauna or hot tub; we simply had perfect hiking weather.
You can also enjoy a lovely walk along the Kinzig River right from the front door.
The parking area for additional vehicles next to the two cars is just a stone's throw away.
The house was clean and very well-equipped. It was also very comfortably furnished; even dog bowls were provided, and everything was perfectly arranged. We felt completely at ease and slept incredibly well. The
only slight drawback was the limited space in the bathroom/toilet area for nine people; our only suggestion for improvement would be an additional toilet on the ground floor.
I would have deducted half a star for this, but a full star would be unfair, as everything is clearly described in the listing. It would simply be the tiniest detail that would make it perfect for its class.

It was superbly equipped, very clean, and we all felt very comfortable.

A relatively modern house, very well suited for a group or family of up to 12 people. If you're looking for a typical Black Forest house, this isn't the place for you. The property is small, but since we were there in November, that wasn't an issue. Beautiful hiking trails start right outside the door. However, it's a relatively long walk to supermarkets, etc.

The house was beautifully furnished. It had everything a family could need, and even with a dog, it was no problem. The house is in a stunning location. You can start hiking right from the doorstep and don't need a car. The balcony offers a fantastic view of meadows and forests. We would definitely vacation there again in a heartbeat. The management was friendly and always responded quickly.

We had a great time, everything was perfect.
However, it's over a 2-hour walk to Alpirsbach.

We travelled with a group ranging in age from 8 to 76 (3 generations) and had a wonderful time in this holiday home. We particularly enjoyed the spacious living/dining room with its large table, the peace and quiet, and the beautiful sun terrace with its stunning views.

No towel racks for each guest.

We travel annually as a family (three siblings, some with partners and children, and my father-in-law, a total of nine people). This year we chose the Black Forest and the Johann Kleine Kinzig holiday home – a great choice! The house is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a holiday, has plenty of space, and is clean and bright. We feltvery much at home.
The only drawbacks: a third toilet on the ground floor would be nice; two are a bit insufficient for nine people. Also, the dishwasher's lower rack is a bit weak – please pre-rinse and leave plenty of space between the plates, then it works fine. Phone calls only work via Wi-Fi.
Special pluses: a large living room for sitting and playing games with a cozy fireplace, the sauna, a well-equipped kitchen with an extra fridge-freezer on the ground floor, five large bedrooms plus a children's bedroom.
Overall, thank you for the opportunity for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay!

Well-equipped house with plenty of space for 6 adults, a child, and a dog 😀. The weather cooperated, and we were even able to use the outdoor lounge. The hot tub was very good, although a thermometer would be helpful. We didn't use the sauna.
The kitchen was very well-equipped; a few sharp kitchen knives would be useful.
The Wi-Fi is okay and needs to be used, as cell phone reception is very limited!
All in all, highly recommended!

Great holiday home with good amenities. Unfortunately, we could only get the house to a comfortable temperature by using the soapstone stove. The sauna in the garden was fantastic, although the path to it was a bit unsafe. The Wi-Fi in the house was good, but the internet connection was only sporadic.
I don't think a €5 usage fee for the washing machine and dryer isreasonable at this price point.

The hot tub is great and fun! It's nice that there's a sauna, although we didn't use it. There's a nice lounge area (which we couldn't use due to the weather).

It would be nice if firewood were included in the rental price. There was too little toilet paper. The Wi-Fi was a disaster – neither phone calls nor internet access were even remotely possible.
Overall, almost everything was perfect.

We felt very comfortable with our extended family over the Christmas holidays. Although every day was rainy, each day was an adventure, as there are many things to discover in the area. Minor problems were resolved very quickly via WhatsApp. When planning our next holiday, we would love to come back here.

Sauna, hot tub, house, and terrace were very clean.
Access to the garden and barbecue area is a bit difficult, especially in snow. The garden isn't level, and
the barbecue is rather small.
But these are minor reasons not to book.

Unfortunately, the path to the outdoor sauna isn't lit, nor is the path to the barrel. This should be changed because it gets dark early, especially when it's cold.

The hot tub was fantastic, but the high step in was a bit difficult.
Not suitable for older people. The kitchen was well-equipped and of high quality. We did miss having a freezer compartment, though.

The condition wasn't perfect: the hot tub was broken, and the garden was very overgrown. The furnishings were basic but functional. But the location is fantastic: so quiet that even phone reception was poor. The provided LTE router at least ensured basic internet access, and sufficient Wi-Fi repeaters in the house provided good Wi-Fi. Hikingtrails started right outside the door, with views of greenery and very, very quiet. It was truly wonderful!
All in all, we had a very enjoyable stay and highly recommend this accommodation as a base for hiking, cycling, and simply relaxing in nature!

Or with a midday nap under the fragrant peach tree on the cozy garden sofa (the fountain babbles merrily in the background)... while my husbandprepares something delicious to eat? The kitchen is perfectly equipped :o)

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovingly prepared house, right down to the firewood and a small bouquet of flowers on the table. Beautiful hiking trails all around, and a relaxing bath in the evening. Well, we didn't use the fireplace or sauna, but at 30 degrees Celsius, we were sweating anyway :o)
This time we were alone, but we'll be back! The house is ideal for getting together with family for a chat and some hiking.

This is the sixth holiday home we've booked from you. Everything was great as always. We had a wonderful time, the organization was excellent, and the communication was friendly. The hot tub was especially great. However,
the amenities in this house were significantly worse than in the others. There was no hairdryer, no freezer, no children's cutlery, and the garden was relatively small.

The house is very clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic – 100% recommended: peace and quiet. The sauna is excellent and easy to use. The sound system in the house is a great idea. The fireplace is fantastic. The grill is also very convenient. We were a large family with six children aged 1 to 17 – everyone was extremely satisfied with the rooms, furnishings, and surroundings. Contact with the management was very friendly. Just a small suggestion: the access to the sauna, grill, and hot tub could be better designed and/or better lit, as the sensors are a bit slow to react, and the paths are damp and slippery. Otherwise, we absolutely recommend it! Thank you for our wonderful vacation! We would love to be your guests again.

Our extended family spent a long weekend at the "Kleiner Kinzig" house.
The days were better than at home: plenty of space, a beautiful area, and despite the rain, a cozy birthday barbecue. Our six children, aged 1 to 17, were kept busy every day. Pure relaxation in the sauna, which is simply fantastic. The hot tub was also a treat on the cooler days. For improvement: the entrances are dark and slippery in the evenings, and the motion sensors react a bit slowly, so you have to be very careful when walking from the sauna to the hot tub.
Hiking opportunities are simply wonderful, for every age and mood. The location is very quiet, and the views from all sides are enchanting.
The house is furnished to a high standard. The good sound system is a particularly nice touch. The fireplace is simply superb! We brought our own firewood, but you can also pre-order it (don't forget for the hot tub). We also brought our own food. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem.
Overall, the house is very clean and comfortable. You really feel at home, but also like you're on the best vacation.

A clean, well-equipped holiday home. The description of the garden was somewhat misleading, as it's unusable due to the sloping terrain.
Booking was complicated, as multiple emails arrived which, at first glance, seemed identical but, upon closer inspection, contained conflicting information.

We really enjoyed the house. It lacked almost nothing. The sauna and hot tub are quite new and easy to use. A variety of hiking trails also start right nearby. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

The house is very well equipped with the essentials. There's enough crockery and pots for 10 people, but no casserole dish, garlic press, or anything as fancy as a salad spinner. However, there is a deep fryer and plenty of empty cupboards. The other rooms also offer more than enough storage space.
The mattresses are very good for those who prefer a firmer surface, although the beds can sometimes squeak quite loudly.
There are no shops nearby. Even by bike, it's only manageable for very athletic people. A quick trip to get bread rolls in the morning requires a car and at least half an hour. On the other hand, it's wonderfully quiet. Not even mobile phones ring. There's simply no reception. (Wi-Fi works, though.)
A sauna and hot tub are available, but the hot tub is rather inconveniently located right next to the road and very close to the neighbor's house. Apparently, you also have to book the wood for it in advance. We couldn't find any wood to heat the water.
Despite a few minor drawbacks, we really enjoyed our stay. Not least because you can go on wonderful, endlessly long hikes in the forest there.

We were a family of seven, including a toddler, and there was easily room for three more. We chose this accommodation because of its many individual rooms and large dining table, which was definitely a worthwhile decision. The house is lovely, we enjoyed leisurely walks along the stream and short excursions from there, and the hot tub and sauna were a particularly nice bonus in the evenings. Our only complaints were the somewhat uncomfortable mattresses in some rooms, and the kitchen could have been better equipped. Overall, though, it's a modern house and well-suited for a long weekend!

We spent a wonderful, relaxing weekend in this great house.
Everything went perfectly, everyone was happy.
The only drawback was that there was only one bathroom. With nine people, this required some flexibility. But we managed it.

We really enjoyed the holiday home. However, one bathroom is insufficient for 11 people. Therefore, we deducted one star from our rating. A third toilet would also be very helpful given the size of the house.
It's always a great convenience for guests.
