From booking to check-out, everything was simply fantastic. The house is ideal for large groups and for dogs. The amenities were also excellent. Everything was there to cook for a large group.
We felt very comfortable.
Even the advance delivery of the dog food went perfectly smoothly. So, we definitelyrecommend it.
We do have one suggestion for improvement: the TVs seem older and have often been disconnected from the network. However, since that wasn't important to me – only to the children – I'm not making a big deal out of it.

The house offers plenty of space, even for larger groups – we were there with 8 adults, 5 children, and a dog, and we all felt very comfortable. We were particularly impressed by the large and beautiful garden, which was perfect for children and the dog. The furnishings were good, and we lacked nothing essential. We also found the value for money to be excellent. We would definitely recommend this house.

The kitchen is perfectly equipped with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The wooden floor in the living room and fireplace area is showing its age and has significant wear and tear – making it suitable for children. As a grandfather, I find the seating in the fireplace room worn out and too low – my children and grandchildren, on the other hand, think it's "ideal".
Besides the sauna in the garden, we miss having an outdoor shower.

A few minor things did bother us slightly, though: we would have liked a hand blender in the kitchen, andwe found a few dog hairs when we arrived – as a family without a dog, this took some getting used to.

After a change in the weather, the heating stopped working properly, but we received prompt and friendly assistance. The house is very suitable for families, with plenty of space.

We have a fantastic connection in this uitzonderlijke vakantiewoning. We have access to the zonovergoten dagen and can enjoy the terraces with buitengewoon uitzicht. The ligging of the vakantiehuis zorgde for various sports activities (skiing, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, skating) and also we can use it in the sauna. The living room was a beautiful cellar with the family and the prayers in the diep in a book of duiken. The ontbrak ons ​​aan geen enkel comfort. We want to talk about the good quality of the housing and the nice plek. We don't have any food yet.

As a family of three, we thoroughly enjoyed the stylish yet practical and robust furnishings.
The children had a blast playing outside on the large lawn with its sandbox, playground equipment, and climbing tree. We adults could watch them from the terrace above while enjoying the beautiful view.
The terrace itself is also well-equipped with a large table and chairs. One or two more sun loungers would have been nice in such lovely weather. Speaking of which, we couldn't find a sturdy, undamaged parasol.
The modern and fully equipped kitchen left nothing to be desired. (We especially enjoyed the coffee from the automatic coffee machine!)
The whole family had a lot of fun with the robot vacuum cleaner.
A rare bonus was the blackout blinds for the bedrooms.
The comprehensive instructions for the house and appliances were also commendable.

Very nice house, really beautiful view over Alpirsbach, also ideal in the evenings, great little sauna.

The large, bright house is very well-equipped, thoughtfully designed, and organized, child-friendly, and suitable for (several) families with children. It boasts a large garden and beautiful views. The town and the main attractions (monastery and brewery) are within walking distance, except for those with limited mobility. It's easily accessible by car. Numerous leisure activities are available. We were very satisfied.

All in all, it was great. We were there with 11 adults and two children under 2 and felt very comfortable.
The only downside is that the table sizes and seating, both indoors and outdoors, are really only suitable for 8 people.
Otherwise, you have to use folding chairs and side tables.
But that's the only criticism.

From the very first moment, all 13 family members, ranging in age from 2 to 78, felt at home in the house and on the adjoining meadow with its playground. This was thanks to the perfect furnishings of the bright, welcoming house, the cozy sauna, and the breathtaking view across the valley to the slopes and meadows of the BlackForest.

We had a wonderful short break in a fantastic dream house that had everything a family with grandma, children, grandchildren, and dogs could need.
From the excellent furnishings and amenities to the huge garden and sauna... simply top-notch!

Our family holiday at Haus Burghalde was wonderful. The view is simply breathtaking. The house has everything you need. We also enjoyed using the sauna. Next time, we would bring our own bed linens, as they had a strange smell, in our opinion. I also felt the price was a bit steep, especially since we had to make the beds ourselves.

As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed the space, the peace and quiet, and the wellness facilities in the house. It's perfect for dog owners because the property is quiet and fenced. We had the perfect getaway, even in the rainy November weather: mountain hiking trails start just 5 minutes away, the historic old town with its monastery and brewery is also 5 minutes away, and shopping was nearby. There was a barrel sauna with a traditionalsauna infusion, a fireplace, a bathtub, a well-exercised dog, comfortable beds with a view of the Black Forest, and a spotlessly clean house. DVDs, books, magazines, and a few games were provided. The washing machine and dryer worked perfectly. We brought our own blankets, as there was only one.

We spent our dream weekend at the Burghalde holiday home in Alpirsbach. The house is very spacious and bright, superbly equipped, and boasts a fantastic view over Alpirsbach with breathtaking vistas of the Black Forest. Our dog was also thrilled, as she had a cozy bed by the inviting fireplace and a large garden where shecould romp around. A particular highlight was the barrel sauna in the garden, which contributed to a very relaxing weekend.

We will definitely book again with this very reliable and friendly landlord, hoping that we will then be able to experience the holiday apartment in person. The house is absolutely fantastic, with a well-equipped kitchen including an oven, stove, and dishwasher. There's also a separate laundry room with a dryer and washing machine – perfect. Apart from a few minor things, it's clean and very tidy. The wood-burning stove is easy to light and heats up quickly. The layout is excellent; the only slight drawback is the table, whichis unfortunately too small for a group. The garden is wonderful, and the sauna is a dream. The beds are comfortable. It's truly a dream vacation home, especially for those traveling with a dog.

We arrived as two families, each with three children. There was still plenty of room in the lovely holiday home. Everyone loved snuggling up on the sofa by the large panoramic window. From there, we had a great view of the fenced garden with its playground and could easily keep an eye on the kids and our dog, Keno. The barrel sauna was a highlight for everyone in the evenings. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the washing machine worked perfectly.

The holiday home offers a beautiful view from the windows of the spacious living and dining area, overlooking the garden and the Alpirsbach valley. We particularly enjoyed the large garden, the three large sofas for relaxing, and the well-equipped kitchen. There is one minor drawback with the sauna: the door no longer closes properly, so the saunacannot maintain temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius, and there is a draft around your feet.

This beautifully situated holiday home was ideal for our family gathering with 6 adults and 6 children (0-6). Even though the weather didn't allow for typical winter activities, there were still plenty of exciting things to do for the kids. The house is perfectly equipped, offers plenty of space, and you can tell that the hosts know what families with young children need(playroom, chalkboard for drawing, high chairs, cot, plastic dishes). And there was nothing for the adults to complain about either: cozy warmth from the wood-burning stove, a charming sauna, and a perfectly equipped kitchen.
We highly recommend it.
