Take a journey back to a bygone era. Lots of wood, old beams, antiques and cosy tiled stoves contribute to a pleasant and warm living climate. An enchanted rose garden invites you to linger. The Vogtshof impresses with its faithfully restored interior, such as old exposed beams, wooden transom doors and sash windows with glazing bars. Upstairs in the farmhouse parlour, with the original panelling, there is a large tiled stove, which is fired from the kitchen and heats both parlour and kitchen. There is also a tiled stove on the ground floor. There is a fully equipped kitchen and there are bathrooms on both floors. Except for the old farmhouse parlour with its original floorboards, all rooms have underfloor heating, and there are radiators in the parlour. In the garden there is a sandbox and a swing for our little visitors while the big ones can make themselves comfortable on the garden lounge. Your landlords, the Schrempp/Dieterle family of 7, say of the Vogtshof: "We have always loved staying in the rustic Vogtshof and especially in winter enjoyed the homely atmosphere by the warm tiled stove. In summer, the large romantic garden with its many lovingly tended rose bushes invites you to linger. The Vogtshof has been restored in the old style with natural materials and thus offers a very pleasant living environment. You can easily feel transported back 100 years and yet have all the comforts that modern times offer. We were reluctant to give away this unique house and so we decided to make it available as a holiday home to other people who appreciate the old and hope that you will feel as comfortable in it as we did for 18 years."The historic Vogtshof in Rottweil

The former Vogtshof of the St. Georgen monastery is the oldest residential building in the Rottweil district of Bühlingen. A historic building for your holidays in a monument. It was first mentioned in 1380. It is believed that the Vogtshof, as the most important building in the village, was the first to be rebuilt after the end of the 30 Years' War (1618-1648), in which the whole of Bühlingen burnt down. From 1983-87, the house was lavishly and expertly restored so that it is now very close to its original state again and has won the Baden-Württemberg State Monument Award. But modern comforts are also available: For example, all rooms except the original farmhouse parlour have underfloor heating. In the living room, the original floorboards are still in place, which is why radiators were installed here. The living room is a real gem from a bygone era and you will feel wonderfully transported back to a bygone time. The parlour also has a ground stove, which is fired from the kitchen and spreads a cosy warmth in winter. There is another ground stove in one of the bedrooms in the basement. The Vogtshof is surrounded by a romantic garden of approx. 800 m², where the most beautiful roses bloom from spring until the onset of winter.
