The toboggan run is located in Gutach right next to the Vogtsbauernhof open-air museum with beautiful historic farms and Black Forest farms. Next to it is the “Park with all the senses” with a barefoot path. The three attractions can be ideally combined into a day trip. The Vogtsbauernhöfe open-air museum in Gutach is a must-visit destination for your vacation! Gutach is half an hour's drive from Alpirsbach in the Kinzigtal (Loßburg 40 minutes, Seewald 60 minutes, Enzklösterle 75 minutes). The place is home to the Black Forest Bollenhuts . The traditional town is located on the Black Forest Railway which runs from Hausach, via Gutach, Hornberg, Triberg to Villingen. Did you know that the Black Forest Railway is a beautiful train route and for railway lovers among our guests we would really recommend a ride on the Black Forest Railway . Additionally, if you consider that travel on most trains is free with the Konus guest card. From Alpirsbach you can easily get to Gutach Schwarzwaldbahn by train via Wolfach and Hausach. For the last 2 kilometers you change trains or take the bus, which is no problem. It is an 800 m walk between Vogtsbauernhöfe and the summer toboggan run. The park with all the senses is 2 kilometers from the toboggan run. You can come by car from Seewald and Enzklösterle. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy a great day in the Black Forest.

Vogtsbauernhöfe open-air museum

Vogtsbauernhöfe are located in Gutach . An open-air museum in which old Black Forest farms have been rebuilt in their original form. Here you will learn a lot about life, work and living in the Black Forest in earlier times and about the Black Forest itself. There are often demonstrations in the Gutach open-air museum about old crafts or hands-on courses in which children or families are invited to try things out. There are craft demonstrations for basket weaving or with a ribbon weaver. In total there are 30 different craftsmen who rotate every day, so there are always a few craft demonstrations, whether in the houses or outdoors. A few of the old trades of craftsmen are mentioned here: straw weavers, coopers, brush makers or the local Black Forest Bollenhut maker, Schäppel maker or Goller embroiderer. There are mill demonstrations three times a day. On Sundays the knocking and plodding saw is demonstrated and on the weekends the “black kitchen” cooks. There is a museum workshop in the Hotzenwaldhaus, which is particularly great for families because the children can do crafts or better crafts here. Or would you like to learn to tie a broom yourself? Then you can also do this at certain events in the Gutacher Open Air Museum under the guidance of the brush maker. The Gutach

800 meters next to the Vogtsbauernhof is the summer toboggan run, which is of course very popular with children. With the Black Forest bob, as the Black Forest toboggan run is called, you are pulled up the mountain with a rope system and from here the descent begins quickly down over a length of 1,150 meters. Park for all senses with barefoot park

What is the park with all senses ? The course at the Barfußpark Gutach is 2.1 kilometers long with a height difference of 80 m. You run through 15 different natural surfaces with 3 adventure rooms: a room of colors and tones in interaction. The audio room and the jungle room with uncultivated wilderness with a light scent of forest herbs and relaxing music. The area is completely wild and only trees are cut down for safety reasons. A nature park on more than 10,000 square meters with scent pavilions, a listening station, two flower tunnels (planted from May), a viewing pavilion, a viewing terrace with music, numerous resting places, a picnic meadow, a foot washing facility after barefoot running and a changing area with 100 shoe cabinets and the shop " With all your senses".
