More than 220 vehicles can be seen in this exhibition, which is unique in Germany in its composition: motorcycles that have been maintained with great effort, three-wheeled vehicles such as the Isetta and other unusual means of transport such as the Messerschmitt cabin scooter. In the car museum you can experience the dawn of motorization in the Black Forest and the Federal Republic from 1945 to 1960 on three floors.
Under the motto “Clock Times”, the museum shows you a special journey through the time and history of clocks in the Black Forest. From the watchmaker's workshop 200 years ago to the machine room, historical shopping arcades, to the sports timing of the Olympic Games in Munich. Right down to the radio clock. The museum is closely linked to the history of the Junghans company, in which up to 5,000 people worked.
Over 100 great vintage and classic cars are shown in the private collection on 3,000 square meters. From the De Dion Populaire, built in 1902, to a Maybach Zeppelin from 1932 to the state limousine of former Federal President Heinrich Lübke from 1959.

Jonah's excursion tip: On vacation to the animal enclosure! As an almost four-year-old, he loves an afternoon feeding animals at the adventure farm. It is just a stone's throw (20 minutes by car) from Alpirsbach. In addition to an animal enclosure and a petting zoo with a yurt, there is also a simple snack bar. In summer there is even a small corn maze 100 meters from the farm. This is one of the best playgrounds in the region. You can book a special event at the educational farm. Admission is free. Animal feed is available in the vending machine.
