The lake is located near Obertal-Buhlbach, 5 km southwest of Obertal. It is a caravan that opens to the northwest and the walls rise up to 120 m above the water level. A hike here is worth it.
The aim of the culture park is to bring the ancient craft of glassmaking back to life. The museum shows the earlier times, where glass and wood were influential. The last 250 years are traveled back into the glass and cultural history of woodcutters, charcoal burners, Harzers, ash burners and glass makers. There is a place to stop for refreshments in the park.
