After 3 years of renovating your own apartment, it was time for a few days of relaxation. We couldn't have found a better holiday destination than the luxury chalet Salzenweiler. Far away from restlessness and stress, the accommodation is located alone with a few other houses "somewhere in the middle of nowhere". Little to no traffic and you really have peace and quiet .
Nevertheless, bakers, good restaurants, shops, pharmacies and banks can be reached within a few minutes. The sauna was a relief after long hikes.
The only disturbing factor (hence a point deducted from the equipment) was the upper floor. Unfortunately, the pleats are narrower than the windows. This means that some privacy is lost because someone from outside could peek in at any time. You feel like you are being watched in both the bedroom and the bathroom. (Toilet and shower are directly opposite the window)

The house is remote and therefore wonderfully quiet. You can take great walks from the house! The sauna invites you to relax afterwards! The kitchen is equipped so that you can cook at home, and shops can be reached in 7 to 8 minutes. The garden is small, but that's enough at this time of year. We'd love to come back, the dogs liked it too 👍

Very clean and well-equipped holiday home. It is located right on the edge of the meadows and forest, which is good if you are traveling with a dog. Likewise the small but nice fenced garden. Since we had wintry conditions, the garage was worth its weight in gold. The property manager was very nice. We only had contact by telephone because everything was fine. Both bathrooms are fairly new, especially the one on the upper floor is very large. In general, the upper floor is huge and very beautiful with visible roof beams. All in all a great and relaxing stay in a small village. What you should probably know: The washing machine and dryer are in a separate room next to the garage, which means you leave the house via the stairs downstairs to get there. But it didn't bother us much.

Due to the quiet location in the middle of nature, the holiday home is ideal for excursions on beautiful forest paths, and the property also makes it really suitable for dog owners!
The furnishings are very tasteful and comfortable, the highlight is the newly designed sauna in the outdoor area.
The sun terrace invites you to relax or enjoy atmospheric barbecue evenings under the stars . If you come in a "cooler" season, you can make yourself comfortable in the living room with the fireplace.

Clean, well maintained, if there is a defect it will be fixed immediately. in a calm neighborhood. Walks from the house are possible and beautiful. By car you can reach Loosburg or the nearest shop in 10 minutes. An ideal place for families with children or dogs. We were allowed to be guests for the 7th time and there will be more😘 60a;💚

We only deducted points because, from our personal point of view, the house wasn't perfect for us. The upper floor can only be reached via a very narrow and steep staircase, the floors on the ground floor creak quite a bit when you enter and the lawn area is rather small because there is a larger sauna (very nice!) than in the pictures . We traveled with a dog, so we rate this as a minus point. However, the property is completely fenced! The cleanliness was great and the manager, Ms. Feldbinder, was very nice and helpful. You are right in nature and it is very quiet.

Unfortunately we only stayed in the luxury chalet Salzenweiler for 3 days but they were absolutely relaxed, quiet and cozy days.

The Chalet Salzenweiler is exactly what you would expect from a holiday. Clean, quiet and in the middle of nature. Many hiking trails lead away from the house, meaning no car is necessary on site. We really enjoyed taking a sauna, walking, playing and feasting in the idyllic setting. We might have slept better on newer mattresses, otherwise it was great.

We had a wonderful stay in Salzenweiler with our child and dog. The house is lovingly furnished and very well maintained. Even for the smallest family members, everything is available, from a travel cot to a high chair to books and toys.

The three of us and two dogs were in Salzenweiler for just under a week and we felt very comfortable... We quickly dropped our plan to go out to eat because you can cook wonderfully in the cozy kitchen-living room... The surrounding area

The ambience invites you to feel good from the first second. The house is lovingly and tastefully furnished and super clean! The fireplace and the sauna were the special highlight for us and provided perfect relaxation! The accommodation is quietly located on the edge of the forest, which was ideal for us with the dog for a quick walk in the morning and evening . The streets were all cleared so that we could explore the surrounding area and take wonderful winter walks! All in all an unforgettable holiday! Clear recommendation!

The house is wonderfully furnished and equipped. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. You should be prepared for the fact that you can only sleep with two people in one room. The other rooms are designed for several people. The living room can be separated, but you can still hear everything that happens in the living room. The sauna is a bit small, but still good. What was annoying was the checkout at 10:00. At least 11:00 would be better and more relaxed.

Very well-equipped and clean accommodation in a typical Black Forest atmosphere. The spacious, quiet environment with meadows on the edge of the forest makes it possible to relax and observe wild animals (foxes, deer,...). Perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours.

Everything is very well maintained, including the garden. We felt very comfortable. The only negative point was the living room. The two uncomfortable sofa beds were in an unusual arrangement for watching TV. We had to completely twist ourselves! It wasn't very comfortable.

The equipment is really high quality and completely new and really complete - right down to the butter dish and egg cups and very beautiful wine glasses - very nicely mixed together with well-kept old things. The arrival was problem-free and the contact was extremely friendly. The garden may be 200 square meters, but it is spread around the house in such a way that there is unfortunately not much space to run around. The house is lovingly furnished.

We enjoyed the peace and the beautiful landscape of the Black Forest. What was particularly good for us with dogs was the completely fenced in garden and also the sauna in rainy weather. The location of the house is great for retreating from the world; To take part in it you definitely need a car. The house had everything we needed and the manager was helpful and friendly.

The area is very dog-friendly, which is of course almost the most important thing with 2 dogs.
The house is very clean, nothing was missing. The vacation was exactly what we needed, peace and time for ourselves. Due to the current situation, the inns in the area were of course not open as usual. That's why you had to plan ahead and get information beforehand.
But it was mostly very relaxed. We drove short distances to our destinations by car. Thank you for the relaxing days

Very quiet location. There was a great Italian restaurant “Die Perle” in Dornhan, 5 km away. The sauna was great and also that the entire house was fenced in, so we could just let our cat and our dog run around.

The house is not that ideal. Last year we were in Alpirsbach in Haus Fronwald. We really enjoyed it there. Of course there is no comparison. But we wouldn't go to Salzenweiler anymore. We didn't like the house that much. Fire and sauna were great and the scenery.

The house is homely and very clean. We immediately felt comfortable. It is in a wonderfully quiet location in a small town with only a few houses. Hikes directly from the house...In just a few minutes you can be in the forest. Ideal for dog owners! The kitchen is superbly equipped. There's really nothing missing...just great! We'd love to come back... Thank you for the great time!

The holiday home is perfectly equipped - very nice and cozy - including a wood fire in the fireplace.
It is in a quiet location - with a small (dog-safe) garden. The environment is perfect for long walks.

Sofa in the living room - seat cushions constantly slide down, probably because it is a pull-out sofa.
A second TV in the upper bedroom would be nice, as the stairs are very steep and therefore difficult.

All in all, it was a very nice break as a family with a dog. It was a sunny November and so we were still able to use the beautiful garden with play equipment and walking paths at the edge of the forest, as well as the sauna. The house is very cozy and invites you to linger. Gladly again.
