The large, bright house is very well equipped, well thought out and organized, child-friendly and suitable for (several) families with children. Large garden, beautiful view; Town and the town's main attractions (monastery and brewery) within walking distance, except for people who can no longer walk well. Easily accessible by car anyway. Numerous leisure opportunities. We were very satisfied .

All in all great.
We were there with 11 adults and two children under 2 and felt very comfortable. Only the table sizes and seating options outside and inside are more suitable for 8 people.
Otherwise you have to use folding chairs and side tables.
But that is the only point of criticism.

From the first moment, all 13 family members, aged 2 to 78, felt at home in the house and on the associated meadow with playground. The perfect furnishings of the bright, friendly house and, last but not least, the cozy sauna and the fantastic view across the valley to the slopes and meadows of the Black Forest contributed to this .

We had a really nice short vacation in a great dream house that has everything a family with grandma, children, grandchildren and dogs needs.
Be it the good furnishings and equipment, the huge garden or sauna... Simply great!

Our family vacation at Haus Burghalde was very nice. The view is simply fantastic. Everything you need is available in the house. We also enjoyed using the sauna. Next time we would only bring our own bed linen because we thought it smelled strange. I also thought the price was a bit overpriced, especially since you had to buy it yourself .

We stayed at the Burghalde holiday home in Alpirsbach with 10 colleagues.
It was 3 beautiful days, we didn't miss anything, we felt very comfortable.

We were in the house as a large group and everything went wonderfully. Above all, the playroom and the playground outside were the highlight for our daughter. For us it was the sauna and the fireplace.

With 6 adults, 1 toddler and our Bernese Shepherd, we of course had great space in the house.
Cleanliness is top! Kitchen well equipped. The view is wonderful and the fireplace corner is really cozy. The playground with fencing is ideal.

As a couple, we really enjoyed the space, the peace and the wellness facilities in the house. Perfect for dog owners because the property is quiet and fenced. We had the perfect break, even in rainy November weather: mountainous hiking trails start 5 minutes away, the historic old town with monastery and brewery etc. 5 minutes away, shopping opportunities were close. Barrel sauna with infusion, fireplace, bathtub, exhausted dog, comfortable beds with a view of the Black Forest and a completely clean house. There were DVDs, books, magazines and a few games. Washing machine and dryer work perfectly. We brought our own blankets, there was only one.

We spent our dream weekend in the Burghalde holiday home in Alpirsbach. The house is very large and bright, well equipped and has a fantastic view over Alpirsbach with a breathtaking view of the Black Forest. Our dog was also very excited because she had a cozy bed by the cozy fireplace and a large garden where she could run around.
A special highlight was the barrel sauna in the garden, which contributed to a very relaxing weekend. Highly recommended!

The house is really great, well-equipped kitchen, including oven, stove, dishwasher, extra laundry room with dryer and washing machine, perfect. Except for a few little things, it was clean and very tidy. The oven is easy to light and heats up quickly, great room layout, really the only thing to complain about is the table, if you come as a group it is unfortunately too small. We arrived as 2 families with 3 children each. There was still enough space in the beautiful holiday home. Everyone enjoyed lounging around on the couch by the large panoramic window. From there you could also look into the fenced-in garden with a playground and keep an eye on the kids and our dog Keno. The barrel sauna was a highlight for everyone in the evening. The kitchen was fully equipped and the washing machine also did its job.

The holiday home has a wonderful view over the window front of the spacious living and dining area into the garden and the valley of Alpirsbach. We really liked the large garden, the 3 large sofas to relax on and the kitchen equipment. There is a small drawback with the sauna. The door no longer closes properly, so the sauna cannot maintain temperatures above 60 degrees and it drags on your feet.

The holiday home is in a fantastic location with a wonderful view and a spacious plot.
Cleanliness and friendliness of the rental seems to be the highest priority. Ideal place to go on short or long hikes.
There are good places to stop for refreshments in town, or there are grocery stores to take care of yourself. Rarely have we experienced such good accommodation as the friendliness of the landlord.

Using public transport with the guest card is extremely elegant!
Your holiday home is very well equipped, with enough crockery and glasses.
The bedrooms are more than adequately sized and very pleasant with balcony access.
The terrace “could” be a little wider, but it was completely sufficient.
The way out of town to the holiday home (after dinner) was “exhausting” at the beginning. It was even better when the goal was achieved.

The beautifully located holiday home was ideal for our family reunion with 6 adults and 6 children (0-6). Even though the weather didn't allow for typical winter activities, there were still plenty of exciting activities for the kids. The house is optimally equipped, offers enough space and you can tell that the hosts know what families with small children need (playroom, blackboard for painting, high chairs, cot, plastic dishes).
And for the adults there was nothing to complain about: cozy warmth from the fireplace, a rustic sauna and a perfectly equipped kitchen. So full recommendation from us.
