Internet was a bad idea, a lot of space was gone. Before the rest keurig.

We had a wonderful time here with top-notch facilities in a very cozy setting. Even our four-legged guests were so thoughtfully catered for – we'll be back!

The kitchen is perfectly equipped with all the necessary dishes and utensils. The wooden floor in the living room and fireplace area is showing its age and has significant wear and tear – making it suitable for children. As a grandfather, I find the seating in the fireplace room worn out and too low – my children and grandchildren, on the other hand, think it's "ideal".
Besides the sauna in the garden, we miss having an outdoor shower.

We stayed at the Historic Tanner's House with two families (a total of 8 people and a dog) and felt very comfortable. The house is beautifully restored and combines historic charm with modern comfort. The location is ideal – right near the impressive monastery complex and the Alpirsbach Brewery.

We particularly enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the character of the house. It's well-suited for groups of up to eight people – it gets a bit cramped with more guests. The small parking spaces are also a minor drawback.

We missed having more information about the history of the house – for example, where the tanner worked and how many people used to live here. That would have made the visit even more interesting.

Overall, a highly recommended house for a stay in Alpirsbach!

A clean, well-equipped, and lovingly furnished house with friendly and helpful owners. The organization was straightforward and flexible. Centrally located in a very beautiful village, surrounded by charming and interesting countryside.
