We highly recommend this house. We stayed there as a family of seven adults with three children and our cat. We all felt very comfortable right away. The room layout was also ideal for us.

A fantastic location, both for our year-end meeting and our special Christmas party. We all felt very comfortable. The on-site support was excellent.

Great stay, nothing to complain about!

The Gerberhaus and its furnishings exceeded all our expectations. The historic half-timbered house is charmingly decorated with great attention to detail, offering comfortable beds and seating areas, along with many unusual, handcrafted pieces of furniture. The sauna and wood-burning stove were wonderful ways to relax after our hikes on cold days. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, allowing for complete self-catering, even for a group. There were even two bowls provided for our dog.
A word of caution for dog owners: the steep stairs (especially to the attic) were a bit difficult for our dog to descend, so we preferred to carry him each time. This could be problematic for larger dogs.

Any suggestions for improvement? Yes, but only minor things: Unfortunately, we couldn't get really hot water from the tap in the downstairs bathtub. Perhaps that can be fixed.
