We had a wonderful time here. The following are just a few points of criticism and suggestions for improvement, which should not diminish our overall rating:

For our elderly residents, the exterior stairs, lacking handrails and poor lighting, were difficult to manage.
The indirect LED lighting in the sauna area and living room, controlled by remote, either didn't work at all or only partially.
The apartment is very centrally located, and the furnishings are of a very high standard.

A very nice apartment with good amenities. Cozy. Beautiful and large sauna. Next time I would stay longer to enjoy the apartment and the Black Forest more.

We all had plenty of space in the house and spent a wonderful Christmas with our family. The kitchen is superbly equipped; we didn't lack anything!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in the holiday home. The house is very well equipped and highly recommended.

The perfect apartment for our short break in the Black Forest. Stylishly furnished, spotlessly clean, and with a beautiful view of the Black Forest. The apartment, including the kitchen, has everything you need, and the booking and check-in process was seamless. We'd love to come back!

It was a magnificent location for our New Year's Eve gathering with friends. We cleared out the large hall and used it as a workshop space. Communication with the tenant, Achim Beck, was incredibly easygoing and accommodating! We also got along very well with the tenants above us and the wedding party in the event barn across the way. Every morning we went ice swimming in the lake on the property. The somewhat secluded location and proximity to nature were fantastic! We'd love to come back, but next time we might rent the Bärenschlössle 2 above, as it has a larger group room.
