We felt very comfortable. Nothing was lacking, and the management was reachable over the weekend despite the holidays.
The accommodation is highly recommended.
We spent a wonderful week here with seven people (three generations of family vacation) and a dog. The house has plenty of space for everyone, is very well-equipped, and the view is fantastic. The fenced garden is perfect for a dog, and we loved it too 😀. We explored the beautiful Black Forest; Alpirsbach is a lovely town and conveniently located for many excursions. We can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurants. We absolutely recommend this house.

Overall, there's nothing to complain about. We had a very nice holiday. One point I'd like to mention: I would have appreciated being informed about the enormous number of ticks in the region before our arrival. We removed countless ticks from our dog

The holiday home offers everything you could wish for. Whether for small children or adults, the extensive amenities leave nothing to be desired for all age groups. Despite the rainy weather, we had a wonderful week's holiday.

This was our second wonderful holiday at the Xaverihof farm. Everything is furnished with great attention to detail and is perfectly suited for families with grandparents and their families, including grandchildren. We would love to come back again.

The Gerberhaus is located very close to restaurants and the monastery with its brewery. Supermarkets are also within walking distance. What we liked best was the unusual decor. It's simply fun, original, and charming. Everything you need is there, including kitchen utensils that you don't find in most other vacation rentals, like kitchen scales and an egg cooker. The lack of a dishwasher isn't a big deal. I was disappointed with the whirlpool tub. The massage function is pleasant, but too loud to relax. The bubbles, on the other hand, are cold. However, the shower in the upstairs bedroom is an absolute highlight. What's a real shame, but typical for such an old house, are the very steep stairs. You have to be careful going down them yourself, but it's too dangerous for dogs and small children. Our dog is small, so we always carried him. You should read the description carefully, as the living area is on the first floor and the bedroom with the shower is on the second floor, so you'll often have to climb the stairs. Parking a large car there might be difficult, as the spaces are very narrow. Otherwise, there are no other parking options on this street.
