The holiday home is very nice, with a great sauna and a well-equipped kitchen. Despite the still cool but sunny weather, the terrace was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon.
Alpirsbach itself is within walking distance, but it involves crossing a mountain and takes about 40 minutes. Nevertheless, we often used it, for shopping or to get to the hiking trails.
The area was great for a week of hiking; for longer trips, you should factor in a short drive.
Overall, we really enjoyed both the holiday home with its sauna and its location in Alpirsbach.

Beautifully and tastefully renovated penthouse apartment with sauna (bathrobe, sauna towels provided), freestanding bathtub, and wood-burning stove. Large, private terrace.

Thank you for a wonderful time in this fantastic holiday home. It was impressive to stay within these old walls. In some places, original building components are likely visible (the house dates back to 1783), and the furniture and small wooden details are custom-made and coordinated for the house. The furnishings are clean, and the amenities (TV, kitchen with refrigerator and freezer, Wi-Fi, walk-in shower, etc.) are modern. The whirlpool and sauna add a touch of spa-like comfort, which is further enhanced by the gentle murmur of the small stream running alongside the garden.

We spent a long weekend with our two dogs at the Dornstetten holiday home and were absolutely delighted. The house is spacious without feeling cramped. A particular highlight is the sauna with its view of the garden. We would definitely come back! The only downside was that we couldn't check in until 4 pm; otherwise, we highly recommend this holiday home.

The holiday home is beautifully furnished and has everything you could need. It's located outside of Freudenstadt, but very quiet. The whirlpool and sauna are cozy and relaxing. There are wonderful hiking trails around Freudenstadt. We were completely satisfied in every respect.
