The house at Diepoldsberg 1 is very nicely furnished and decorated. It was difficult to reach anyone over the weekend. It was also confusing to keep seeing different names and figuring out who was responsible. Often it's small things, like the lighters for lighting the fireplace being empty and the shops already closed.

The house was pretty much at its limit for the number of people we were staying in. We were nine adults and three children, two of whom were only three years old. For any more people, especially if everyone is grown up, I think it would be too cramped. The dining area and the entrance, in particular, would feel cramped. The small sink also becomes a problem if you want to cook.
Unfortunately, the noise from the dining area travels up to the bedrooms unimpeded; you even get the feeling that the tunnel-like staircase amplifies the noise before it reaches the top. Downstairs, it doesn't feel noisy at all.
With our group, we managed well because everyone was considerate when the children were sleeping upstairs.
Otherwise, I can highly recommend the house – it's cozy, modern, and clean. The fireplace also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere. There's plenty of crockery, cutlery, and pots, lots of good books for children, a nice play area, a lovely large, comfortable sofa, and a wonderful sauna.

We enjoyed our stay and found the spacious apartment comfortable, clean, and in a darling location. There are blackout shutters my husband appreciated if you like to sleep in. We found the church bell to be charming. So, Marika was friendly and welcoming. She gave us a great recommendation to visit the Gengenbach Christmas market, shared a nearby location for a morning walk in the forest, and for a local delicious breakfast.

A total of 16 people, including toddlers, teenagers, young adults, and us as grandparents, celebrated at the Schlössle: a unique house where EVERYTHING was provided for a very stylish and unforgettable weekend. The huge kitchen, with its ample dishes and glasses, fantastic tiered serving trays, bowls, and wooden boards, made it easy for us to cater for everyone and create beautiful buffets for meals. Everything was spotlessly clean and very, very nicely arranged!
Achim was a super nice host.
We were even allowed to go sledding right next to the house (great fun!).

A very clean and superbly equipped holiday home. It's located right on the edge of a meadow and forest, which is great if you're traveling with a dog. The small but lovely fenced garden is also a plus. Since we had wintery conditions, the garage was invaluable. The property manager was very friendly. We only had contact by phone because everything was in order. Both bathrooms are quite new, and the one upstairs is particularly spacious. In fact, the upstairs is huge and very beautiful with its exposed roof beams. All in all, a wonderful and relaxing stay in a small village. One thing to be aware of: the washing machine and dryer are in a separate room next to the garage, meaning you have to go downstairs to access them. This didn't bother us much, though.

A very pleasant stay in a great wooden house! Superb location and very friendly contact with the management.
