Everything was great, even the weather, which ranged from 15 degrees and sunshine to sub-zero temperatures and snow.

This was our second stay at the Waldschatz chalet, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit once again.
Both times, it was just the two of us, along with our two Maine Coon cats – a wonderful place that is also perfectly suited for animal companions.

What was particularly great was the completely fenced property, which allowed our cats to roam freely and safely outside.
This made our stay very relaxing for all of us.

The house itself is very lovingly furnished and superbly equipped. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and offers everything you need for cooking and enjoying meals. The fireplace creates an incredibly cozy atmosphere, and the sauna is ideal for relaxing after a walk in the beautiful Black Forest countryside.

If you're looking for peace, rest, and relaxation, this is the place for you. The surroundings are very quiet – perfect for escaping everyday life and recharging your batteries.

We would love to come back and can absolutely recommend the Waldschatz chalet.

A hidden gem for solo travelers or couples looking to spend a few wonderful days surrounded by nature without sacrificing comfort (sauna and jacuzzi). I highly recommend it to anyone seeking peace, nature, and wellness to recharge their batteries. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and charmingly furnished. I would gladly return.

The main road below was a bit noisy when sitting outside, but since we did a lot of hiking, it wasn't too bad.

Good hikes are possible from the house, followed by a relaxing sauna; we were very satisfied.

A very nice holiday home, ideal for a quiet holiday with several people. The location and atmosphere are truly pleasant, and overall we had a very good time.
The only drawback was the Wi-Fi: it's very weak and frequently drops out. Working or streaming is therefore hardly possible. Also, the desk described in the advertisement was missing in all the rooms, which was a bit of a disappointment for us.
There was a slight smell of dog upon arrival, but this dissipated after airing the place out thoroughly.
The kitchen is very well equipped; nothing is lacking. We especially appreciated that dishwasher tablets were even provided. Overall, the price-performance ratio is excellent; we were satisfied and would gladly return.
