We stayed in the house for a long weekend with six adults and a dog. The occasion was my mother's 80th birthday. The house has a fantastic layout. The lower level (almost at ground level) was ideal for my parents, as the bathroom is right next to it. The upstairs rooms are also very spacious. Although the weather was terrible, we had a wonderful, fun-filled few days. Highly recommended!

Our family reunion was perfectly set in this dreamlike house, lovingly furnished down to the last detail. The amenities were absolutely complete; nothing was missing. The cozy atmosphere throughout the house made us forget the bad weather outside. It was simply wonderful!

We had a lovely family trip to a rustic, comfortable log cabin in the Northern Black Forest. The host was very friendly and everything was very well-organized. We immediately felt at home and had two wonderful evenings. Slipping into the cozy beds at night with the red and white checkered bedding was heavenly. Especially since the wind was quite loud outside and we could hear the forest rustling... simply beautiful!

It was a very pleasant stay all around.

The building and furnishings are excellent, with a few minor drawbacks:
The sofa in the living room – the seat cushions constantly slide down, probably because it's a sofa bed.
A second TV in the upstairs bedroom would be nice, as the stairs are quite steep and therefore difficult to climb.
Otherwise, everything is fine.
