Great house, and not too big for four people. Nothing was missing or in bad condition. Excellent. Quiet location, even if it's a bit further from town.

You arrive and instantly feel at home.
Highlights included the terrace, which offers endless views, the sauna, and the whirlpool. And even a window under the bed where you can gaze at the stars.

Overall, a very well-maintained property with good, comfortable, and tasteful furnishings. Everyone immediately felt at home. The ideal place to escape the usual stress and unwind. The complete lack of cell phone reception (T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone?) also contributes to this feeling. DSL via Wi-Fi is rather mediocre, but that's probably due to the local conditions, and the homeowner can't be held responsible for that. There is one small drawback, however: every couch/sofa and all mattresses are completely worn out. We would have liked to deduct half a star for this; a full star wouldn't be entirely appropriate, but unfortunately, that wasn't possible. Our conclusion: We can wholeheartedly recommend this house and would gladly return ourselves!

The house is beautiful and fully equipped. The charm of the old walls and beams is preserved thanks to the modern additions and restorations. The sauna and whirlpool make the Gerberhaus a small wellness oasis in Alpirsbach.

The house sometimes creaks at night, that's part of it, just like the small stairs (which weren't a problem for us) to the next floor.

Great location, lovely little garden, welcoming atmosphere and charm. We loved all of it and will definitely come back.

a real dream holiday home

A very nice house with lots to discover. The highlight was the hot tub that you heat yourself. The only thing missing for a larger group would have been another toilet/bathroom; otherwise, highly recommended!
