Just as you'd want it!! Even details like children's cutlery were a great bonus...
Class!

...we would like to mention a few things:
- The whirlpool tub doesn't work; instead, there's a whirlpool mat that you can put in it. It's a real shame that we weren't informed about this beforehand, as the whirlpool tub was one of the reasons we chose the Oberbrändi log cabin.
- The fully automatic coffee machine shown in the photos in the description isn't there.
- There's a well-organized set of rules, with lots of things to pay attention to (e.g., strict waste separation) and things you're not allowed to do (operating sound systems outdoors) and things you're supposed to adhere to (quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM). Unfortunately, the garbage bin in front of the house was already overflowing when we arrived; it was clear that the garbage hadn't been sorted, and we had free music from the neighbors until midnight on the very first night.
- The underfloor heating in the kitchen can't be regulated; the only solution is to switch off the fuse, otherwise it heats up all night.
- We found the remains of the previous guests in the oven.
- The oven with microwave function: its quirks, which you should be aware of beforehand. The manual was nowhere to be found.
- A very friendly and helpful employee of the rental company, who readily assisted us despite being on vacation (his mobile number was displayed by the phone for emergencies) - however, we shouldn't have called him, but rather contacted the landlords using the contact information provided to us by email.
Now, we're supposed to pay for a special pan we never used—let alone saw (€38.77). Apparently, we also didn't sort the trash, and for that, we were charged €17.70 for 30 minutes of extra work. We sorted the trash as instructed, and seriously, how much trash can four people possibly produce in less than four days?! Oh, and apparently, we left a lot of sand in the sauna, and now we're supposed to pay €11.80 for that, even though we didn't even go in the sauna and the light was still on when we arrived, which we then turned off using the light switch on the outside.
We seriously wonder if anyone even cleaned the house before we arrived. In our opinion, that person shouldn't have overlooked the light and sand in the sauna, the unsorted trash, the missing pan (and the leftover food in the oven). We feel unfairly treated and, frankly, a bit ripped off.
We would also like to emphasize that the Oberbrändi log cabin is a fantastic holiday home with plenty of sleeping and relaxation options. We felt very comfortable there. The village of Oberbrändi is very quiet and charming. It's a great base for taking day trips. It was a truly wonderful holiday.

We arrived as a group of seven and received a very warm welcome. We were thrilled with the house; it's in a very quiet location, surrounded by meadows and forests. The facilities were excellent; we lacked nothing. We each had our own room, some with a double bed, others as shared rooms. All the rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Upstairs, there were three showers and two toilets, while downstairs there were two more toilets, a shower, and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen was the heart of the house for us, as was one of the three living rooms.
From the house, you can hike directly to waterfalls and a swimming lake. We also went to the bakery every morning and sometimes went into the lovely town for dinner in the evenings. We did have one minor complaint, though: a clothesline would have been nice, so we wouldn't have to run the dryer all the time in the heat we experienced. Perhaps we just didn't find it; it's easy to get lost in the house! ;) We will definitely be back! Thank you Achim and many thanks to the Roth family.

Very nice, well-equipped holiday apartment. Good location.

All in all, very good: very clean, good to very good amenities, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, the house's location is ideal for various activities, plenty of parking, the outdoor area is lovely for barbecues and sitting outside, a nice living room with a giant TV upstairs, and the whirlpool and sauna will certainly be very nice in winter. Friendly on-site support. The
only downside is that the kitchen – which is otherwise very well-equipped (great coffee machine!) – is a bit small for a larger group. At maximum occupancy, room allocation might be a bit tricky, as there is one multi-bed room with bunk beds (otherwise, there are double rooms with box-spring beds). The "clothes dryer" mentioned in the description turned out to be a clothes drying rack...

We had a wonderful and relaxing family holiday – grandparents with their children and grandchildren. The house met our high expectations. Alpirsbach is well worth a visit, and the surrounding area offers many leisure activities for all ages. The Waldkauz restaurant in Dornhan is particularly noteworthy – it's excellent.
