The high-quality and tasteful furnishings made us feel right at home. The kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to cook and bake with ease. We also made good use of the terrace and garden, which offered plenty of games.

We had a wonderful family weekend at the Gerberhaus and felt completely at home. It's idyllically situated in Alpirsbach's old town, with its shops and numerous restaurants nearby. There are fantastic opportunities for day hikes right from the house. We highly recommend the Gerberhaus to families, even those with very young children!

The holiday home has a lovely large dining table where the nine of us comfortably sat, and it was very well equipped with dishes, glasses, and kitchen utensils. The location is perfect; you can start hiking right from the house. Everything was very clean, and we felt very comfortable.

Very well-equipped and clean accommodation in a typical Black Forest setting. The spacious, peaceful surroundings with meadows bordering the forest offer opportunities to relax and observe wildlife (foxes, deer, etc.). A perfect starting point for hikes and bike tours.

Lovingly furnished dream home

We had three wonderful days at the Gerberhaus and finally, after all the deprivations of the lockdown, a change of scenery. Our three small children also loved the old half-timbered house.
