Christmas over, my ass...
Let's go! Quickly washed the last splashes of gravy from our faces, plucked tinsel from our hair, dug our shoes out from under a mountain of wrapping paper and off to our homes. Christmas is over! At least that's what I thought ...
Because when I go to check on our house in Enzklösterle, I hear strange sounds as soon as I open the door. "Sweeter the goblins never sound, than at the Weiheieienaaachtszeiheiiiiit!". It didn't really sound sweet and Christmas ... well, that was definitely no longer today. But I was curious and puffed up the stairs as fast as my gingerbread rolls around my waist would allow.
And that's when I saw it for the first time: the "Dierle", our house leprechaun, of whom we had only seen a little tail or ears now and then. As the song suggested, he belongs to the "Schwobold" family. Little is known about these Black Forest goblins, but it is said that they prefer to settle down with families with enough chaos and lots of giggles in their heads. And we really have enough of that now!
Gift baskets with the finest Black Forest delicacies to taste
When it saw me come in, it jumped away like a leprechaun. But: in front of me was a basket filled to the brim, as you can see in the pictures. And a note that said: "So, from now on it's Christmas all year round in the dream holiday homes. Because with my BÄUTE sack, I'm bringing you the finest things I've found on my forays through the Black Forest. There's really no more room in my cave now, but there certainly is in the bellies and heads of your guests." And further down "PS: You may only taste a very, very small bit. Old Schwobold law!"
We have made it! The finest Black Forest HamWe have the finest Black Forest ham, special herb mixtures, everything for the famous Black Forest sauna ritual and all sorts of things that make the Black Forest three times as beautiful on sunny and rainy days. But this much can be said: from now on, you can be especially curious about holidays in our houses.
