Hello, I'm Lusia. I am 10 years old and go to the 4th grade in Alpirsbach. My parents, my brother Jonah and my little sister Lilith were in Schömberg, a district of Loßburg, yesterday. Josina wasn't there because she was invited to a child's birthday party by her classmate and they were at the indoor playground in Schutterwald. There is a really nice playground in Schömberg, right next to the forest. In the playground there is a cable car, a large climbing tower (or scaffolding), something similar to a carousel that you can push yourself. Then there is a small playhouse, swings, a large meadow with 2 goals for playing football and a large log cabin that you can rent for parties. What's great: there are nice public toilets. There is also a barbecue area for which you can register at the local administration in Schömberg or at the tourist information center in Loßburg: Telephone: 07446 9504-60. There are also nice wooden benches to sit on. By car it takes a maximum of 15 minutes from Alpirsbach to Schömberg. But you can also walk. This takes at least 2 hours, depending on how old the children are. It's 7 km and it's partly uphill. Tip from Dad: Use of the playground and sports field, as well as the toilet facilities, is free for individuals/families. Groups of 10 or more people are charged a fee of 20 euros.
