You can park in the parking garage at the train station and walk 10 minutes to the Sommerbergbahn station. You take the cable car to the mountain station and follow the signs to Grünhütte. You hike 5 km to the Grünhütte forest restaurant. Delicious blueberry pancakes! Then it continues for 1.5 kilometers over the raised moors, barren forests and along the beautiful Wildseemoor to the Wildsee. Then we go back the way they came.

From the mountain station of the summer mountain railway you go to the treetop path ( www.baumwipfelpfad-schwarzwald.de ). The treetop path has a total length of 1250m, the height only increases slowly. Therefore, it is a leisurely walk to the top to look over the treetops of the Black Forest. From the observation tower, which is 40m high, you can see as far as the Alps when visibility is good. Both young and old can enjoy the 55 meter tunnel slide. Children aged 6 and over are allowed to slide. Suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. To stop off, we recommend the Auerhahn Hotel right next to the cable car.
