Our holiday homes and holiday apartments in Alpirsbach in the Black Forest are the ideal starting point for hiking and discovering the rafting path in the Kinzigtal between Lossburg and Wolfach. The first part of the rafting trail from Loßburg to Alpirsbach is a very family-friendly tour.
From the holiday apartment in Alpirsbach you start on foot to the train station. The train to Lossburg runs every hour. The trip is free with your Konus guest card, which you receive as part of your tourist tax, because all local public transport in the Black Forest is free with the Konus guest card.
Enjoy the short 10-minute drive from Alpirsbach to Loßburg to the train station. From the train station in Loßburg, follow the hiking signs to the rafters' path or to the magic land.
If you are traveling with your children, the children will like the Losburger Zauberland. There you will find a small lake and the Kinzig source. The Kinzig is the river that gave the beautiful Kinzigtal its name. From the Zauberland you can enjoy the beautiful, slightly sloping route of the raftsman's path with numerous information boards and the Felixpfad, an information path that is particularly appealing to little hikers.
The Fronwald holiday home is located about 500 meters from the rafters' path on the Burghalde and our historic Gerberhaus holiday home is nearby, whereas the Black Forest holiday home on the Dieboldsberg is the ideal entry point for the second part of the rafters' path from Alpirsbach to Wolfach.
