With the KONUS guest card, you can travel free of charge on buses and trains throughout the Black Forest. Our Black Forest house in Enzklösterle is beautifully situated in the Gompelscheuer district, right on the edge of the forest, next to cycling and hiking trails.

The 3-kilometer circular trail is very manageable with children. It starts with a gentle uphill climb. Follow the signs marked with a bear's paw along the way. You'll be in a pristine protected forest and can enjoy the scent of moss and mushrooms. Information panels provide insights into the nature of the protected forest. Here you can experience unspoiled nature. This route is not suitable for strollers.
The parking lot is located directly at Bärlochkar in the Rohnbach valley, 2 kilometers from Enzklösterle. We recommend sturdy footwear.
An idyllic rest area with a children's playground is located at Süßbächle 7. Follow the signs for Schwarzwaldhaus Zwink for 500 meters. Here you can get drinks, ice cream, and more. Open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
The 4-kilometer circular trail begins at the upper forest parking lot, tucked away on the left bank of the stream just beyond the bridge on Rohnbachstrasse. The Rohnbach Valley is a side valley, 2 kilometers from Enzklösterle, and lies on the border between Baden and Württemberg. The trail is marked with a yellow diamond. A narrow, idyllic forest path leads 1.7 kilometers upstream along the left bank of the stream to a picnic area with a wood-burning stove. From there, the trail continues to the old forester's lodge at Rombachhof, accessible from the bridge. A tragic murder occurred there in 1945. Now, leave the yellow diamond trail and head downstream on the right bank of the stream back into the Rohnbach Valley to the parking lot. This route is not suitable for strollers. You can also stop for a break at the Schwarzwaldhaus Zwink (Black Forest House Zwink).
The hike begins directly at Hirschtal. Follow the signs for Hirschgehege/Krippena. You can park in the large parking lot there.
You can observe the red deer enclosure from all sides along its 2-kilometer length. This is a real treat for your children. They are also welcome to feed the deer. After your walk, Krippena 2000 you to a nativity scene exhibition. A fantastic display of hand-carved wooden figures and nativity scenes awaits you.
Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission: Adults €3.50, with guest card €3.00. Children accompanied by an adult are free. Delicious Black Forest cherry cake is available at the café in Hirschpark.
Discover the blueberry of the forest in Enzklösterle on a 13-kilometer hike. The starting point is the tourist information office on Friedensstraße, where parking is also available. Walk through the beautiful spa gardens and cross the road into Lappach, passing the blueberry house (where you can buy blueberry specialties).
They hike uphill towards Schöllkopf, passing many blueberry bushes and moss-covered rocks. At an altitude of over 800 meters, they reach the highest point.
The trail then descends gently, offering viewpoints overlooking the Lappach Valley. Passing the Große Enz river and the Russhütte mountain hut, the route continues along the Hirschkopf hill to the Erdbeerplatte viewpoint. At Erdbeerplatte, you'll find a beautiful view across the valley, and a wooden swing provides a place to relax. After four hours, the trail descends again, passing the deer enclosure, and returns to the Tourist Information Center.

With the KONUS guest card, you can travel free on bus line 7780. Kaltenbronn is 7 kilometers from Enzklösterle. From parking lot F, you walk along the nature trail at an altitude of 1000 meters, passing through high moors, sparse forests, and the beautiful Wildsee moor. Let your children enjoy the children's adventure trail. It's sure to be fun and exciting. Look out for the capercaillie symbol that marks the trail. Since this is not a circular route, you can either return the way you came or hike another 3 kilometers to the Grünhütte forest inn. It's well worth stopping there for a relaxing break and enjoying the delicious blueberry pancakes. Afterward, hike another 3 kilometers to the Sommerbergbahn cable car. From there, take the cable car down to Bad Wildbad and then the bus back to Kaltenbronn.
