You can also rent the holiday flat together with the luxury holiday flat Triberg - they are both luxury holiday flats. On its own it is the ideal hideaway for the holiday for lovers & couples who would like to spend their holiday here undisturbed. There are two further sleeping places in a large 180 x 200 cm double bed in the so-called children's cave (standing height =170 cm) in the holiday flat (you can reach the cave in the attic (standing height 170 cm!) from the bedroom via a step ladder). In addition, there is a nice sofa bed for 2 more persons in the living area as well as 2 children's travel beds for small children. The domicile is therefore ideal for "romantic hours for two" or a relaxed family holiday. With access to a great wellness area, the flat - as the former threshing floor over two floors - offers one equipment highlight after the other. A dream of a wellness area
Schonach is located in the central Black Forest at the transition to the southern Black Forest and belongs to the Upper Black Forest due to its altitude. The municipality is situated in a high valley 5 km from the world-famous town of Triberg (cuckoo clocks and Triberg waterfalls) and is known for its alpine and Nordic winter sports facilities - including the ski jump.
Together with Triberg, Schonach is the worldwide centre of original cuckoo clock production. The highest point in the Schwarzwald-Baar district is in Schonach at 1163 m above sea level.
The neighbouring communities are Triberg, Schönwald in the Black Forest to the south and Simonswald and Elzach in the Elztal to the west. To the north is Hornberg, famous for the Hornberg shooting.
