The Triberg holiday flat has four lovely bedrooms with high-quality and cosy double beds. 2 more people can find space in the largest bedroom on high-quality mattresses. In addition, 2 people can sleep on the sofa in the living room. A large and modern kitchen with top equipment is open to a spacious dining area and adjoining living area. The stove is placed in the room in such a way that you can watch its crackling fire from both the dining room and the open living room. The high-quality dining table offers ample space for 10 people. Two more people can be seated at the bar counter next to it. The exposed old wooden beams and the cosy design of the living area create a wonderful feel-good atmosphere: a huge sofa couch provides a great view of the 46 inch smart TV. Schonach is located in the central Black Forest and belongs to the Upper Black Forest due to its altitude. The community is situated in a high valley 5 km from the world-famous town of Triberg (cuckoo clocks and Triberg waterfalls) and is known for its alpine and Nordic winter sports facilities - including the ski jump. Together with Triberg, Schonach is the worldwide centre of original cuckoo clock production.
The highest point in the Schwarzwald-Baar district is in Schonach at 1163 m above sea level.
The neighbouring communities are Triberg, Schönwald in the Black Forest to the south and Simonswald and Elzach in the Elztal to the west. To the north is Hornberg, famous for the Hornberg shooting.
The communities of Nußbach and Gremmelsbach used to be independent communities and are now parts of Triberg. The holiday region includes places like Schönwald, Sankt Georgen, Schonach, Triberg and others.
