In the various bedrooms (6 bedrooms in total, including 1 passage room as well as a sofa bed in a lounge area and a couch in the large living room) of the house, there is room for up to 18 people. Whether in one of the double beds, on a sofa bed or in the so-called children's den (sleeping area in the loft with a standing height of 170cm), everyone will find enough space to sleep here. Of course, two children's travel beds for infants are also available. The two kitchens in the luxury holiday home Schonach are spacious, modern and well equipped and leave nothing to be desired. Preparing delicious meals is not difficult here and the spacious dining areas invite you to eat together. In each of the open-plan living areas, a wood-burning stove provides a cosy atmosphere of well-being, which you can enjoy on one of the comfortable seats while the smart TV or the music system with sound volume play in the background. Whether you feel most comfortable on one of the sun loungers, the sunbathing lawn, at the barbecue area, under a parasol or by the pond, you will have to find out for yourself. The luxury holiday home Schonach is located in the Upper Black Forest in a quiet yet central location in the centre of the climatic health resort Schonach, which is famous for its Black Forest winter sports. Schonach is also known as the centre of the cuckoo clock. The neighbouring town of Triberg is known for its famous Triberg waterfalls, among other things. The entire region offers an almost unlimited selection of sporting opportunities and exceptionally beautiful excursion destinations in summer and winter.
Schonach lies in the
Black Forest and, due to its altitude, is part of the Upper Black Forest. The community is situated in a high valley 5 km from the world-famous town of Triberg (cuckoo clocks and Triberg waterfalls) and is known for its alpine and Nordic winter sports facilities - including the ski jump. Together with Triberg, Schonach is the worldwide centre of original cuckoo clock production.
The highest point in the Schwarzwald-Baar district is in Schonach at 1163 m above sea level.
The journey is possible from the A5 via the B33 (Offenburg - Villingen-Schwenningen). Turn off at Triberg, Schonach is approx. 5 km from Triberg. From the southern Black Forest, you can travel via Furtwangen-Schönwald. From Stuttgart, take the A 81 to the Villingen-Schwenningen exit, then head towards Triberg/St. Georgen and continue as described above.
