Furnishing of the living area & bathrooms of the manor house

The Hofgut Bärenschlössle manor house is Freudenstadt's landmark, a uniquely situated fiefdom built in 1627 in a wonderfully secluded location on the edge of the forest with a game reserve on the Finkenberg in Christophstal with a panoramic view of Freudenstadt.

It is one of the few buildings to have survived the great city fires of 1632 and 1945. Lovingly renovated and refurbished in 1967 and 2017, modern and furnished to a high standard, ideally located on the edge of the forest, so that you lack nothing and can spend an unforgettable holiday.

The impressive 450 m2 living space is divided into 2 house units in the same building and have 220 sqm and 230 sqm living space. Both with separate entrances on different levels and sides of the mansion and their own outdoor area.

In the manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle 2 with its 220 square metres of living space, the self-supporting wooden structure exudes a lot of warmth and the generously laid-out rooms invite you to spend pleasant hours together. The surrounding meadows and the small lake also round off the idyllic panorama.

The large living room with open kitchen and dining room offers a lot of daylight and cosiness and the exposed beams, the tiled stove (not heatable) and the thick masonry are special features.

On the first floor there are also two bedrooms (one with four-poster bed) and two bathrooms (with underfloor heating). The spacious spiral staircase leads to the second floor with its very generous 3 bedrooms, a living room, laundry room, and large bathroom with WC (and underfloor heating).

There is a terrace with a barbecue.

All kitchens in the Black Forest dream holiday homes are particularly well equipped, including the kitchen in Bärenschlössle 2.

Are you looking for a great place to stay as well as an event location, ideally directly opposite? Then this is also the right place for company events and the Hofgut is an insider tip as a great wedding location!

Each house area can be rented separately. For very large groups who want to experience accommodation in a unique ambience, rent the entire manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle.

On our historic farm estate, celebrations of upscale gastronomy take place in the event barn. The courtyard serves as a reception area for the guests. Dinners and the supporting programme are held in the Bärensaal on the upper floor. The party after the feast is held in the lounge on the ground floor. On the ground floor we have increased soundproofing to prevent disturbance to our neighbours. The outside area will be converted during the dinner, so that the courtyard area is free again. The outdoor area for guests will then be directly in front of the silo hall. As holiday guests directly opposite the barn, you will be somewhat affected by this for a short time. However, the massive walls of the Bärenschlössle will protect you from too much noise disturbance.

Upfront our stay, there was good communication with the caretaker of the property.
Our first impression was that the property was exactly as on the pictures. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the lounge seat in the living room was super nice!

20. Februar 2022
