Our 4 families (8 adults, 7 children) had a wonderful holiday during the carnival holidays. We were surprised at how cozy and warm the house was thanks to the central and underfloor heating. With plenty of space, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds, we felt very comfortable and will be visiting from Heidelberg again soon!

We spent a weekend (two nights) at Bärenschlössle 1. The contact with the manager was very pleasant and everything worked wonderfully. Everything was great from handing over the keys to acceptance. The house itself is just perfect for a secluded but extravagant banquet/weekend. In particular, the main room with the adjoining rooms is overwhelming. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a good brunch.
On the upper floor it's rather tight for more than 10 people, but if you get along well, no problem at all for our group (16 people). I can only recommend!

A total of 16 people, with small children, teenagers, young people and us as a pair of grandparents, we celebrated in the Schlössle: a unique house in which EVERYTHING was available for a very stylish and unforgettable weekend. The huge kitchen with plenty of dishes and glasses, fantastic cake stands, bowls and wooden boards made it easy for us to feed everyone and set up wonderful buffets for meals.
Everything is sparkling clean and very, very beautifully designed! Achim was a super nice host.
We were also allowed to go sledding right in front of the house (great fun!)

Spacious rooms, very good facilities and a beautiful location with many options for activities. The best conditions for a holiday with the extended family. We felt very comfortable. The only restriction: the event barn directly at the property. When booking, we only realized very late that events were taking place right on our doorstep. When we arrived, we immediately burst into the middle of a wedding. Proactive communication about this would have been good. Then you can take this into account and prepare for the party next door until the morning.

Everything worked wonderfully.

Super clean and extravagant accommodation! Check in and check out went smoothly and the owner is very friendly and helpful. All in all, simply bombastic!

We stayed for three nights in this incredibly great atmosphere. We were greeted very friendly by Achim the manager. His humanity alone gives you an absolute sense of well-being. Everything you need for cooking and living is there. It was super clean and the rooms are perfectly designed and beautifully decorated. A room with three bunk beds was too narrow and too small for us. This was not used by us. But all other rooms are beautifully furnished. It was just great.

We spent our wedding weekend there and had a great time with all our friends there.
The large shared kitchen was perfect for everyone to spend time together! Rustic, cozy, inviting - you can only have a fantastic time there. We recommend!!!

It was a magnificent location for our New Year's Eve gathering with friends. We cleared out the large hall and used it as a workshop space. Communication with the tenant Achim Beck was super easy going and accommodating! We also got on very well with the tenants above us and the wedding party in the event barn across the street. Every morning we went ice swimming in the lake on the property. The somewhat remote location and proximity to nature were really good! We would be happy to come back, but then we might rent the Bärenschlössle 2 above, because there is a larger group room there.

We all felt very comfortable. On-site support was great. We really enjoyed the days despite a lot of work.

A wonderful holiday apartment, unique in the whole country 🙂 Very, very beautifully decorated, with attention to details!
We were a large group (about 10 adults), including a baby, and we had more than enough space.
The living area downstairs is ideal for eating together, the kitchen has everything you need (large refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, enough plates and dishes, kettle, etc. ) for a big party.
Communication with the landlord was flawless, everything worked great!

The large rooms and layout were ideal for a professional meeting. We particularly liked the large living room, the very well-equipped kitchen and the location. If we had any questions, we also had a contact person on site.

A beautiful house to feel good in. There are more sleeping options than stated. Think about bed covers or book them at the same time.

This is our third time here. As a large family with three generations and the dogs, we feel completely at home here and will definitely come back. At the latest when the fourth generation is ready.

On the occasion of my birthday, I invited family members to the manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle 1. First, I spent the first 3 days alone with my wife in this extraordinary atmosphere, before my guests gradually arrived. We were warmly welcomed by Anja - the sister of the manager Achim Beck - and found the holiday home exactly as it can be seen in the pictures. We were overwhelmed and immediately felt at home. The facilities cannot be compared to the holiday homes we have visited since then. Nothing is missing. Everything is in a very clean condition and everything can be used. The furniture is clean and high quality. Living and sleeping areas are a dream and the bathrooms are modern and spacious. All in all, a fantastic oasis of well-being in which my guests felt more than comfortable. I would particularly like to highlight the long table in the dining area, which can be used excellently for an enjoyable and sophisticated celebration. The entire rooms can be brightly lit or bathed in warm light. We were able to spend a wonderful week in the mansion that will remain in our memories forever. We would like to thank Achim and his sister Anja, who rounded off the overall picture with their friendly and attentive manner. Thank you.

From registration to processing, arrival to departure, everything was top notch.
Very friendly administration. We had a wonderful family get-together on the occasion of a “round” birthday.
Whether young or old, everyone enjoyed it.
We could meet in the different rooms or stay out of the way. The open kitchen area with an adjacent, beautiful large table in the dining room is always very comfortable.
The various rooms in the sleeping area on the upper floor are also lovingly furnished and there are
enough bathrooms.
In short, it was a successful birthday party in this very beautiful and lovingly furnished dream holiday home.

A very nice castle

Price/performance rather sufficient

We had a great weekend at the Bärenschlössle.
The house was particularly impressive with its great location and the large living room. A family gathering was wonderfully possible here. I would particularly like to emphasize the communication with the contact person.
A big thank you for such an uncomplicated approach. However, I would like to point out two points that perhaps need improvement.
Unfortunately, the pillows weren't particularly comfortable and some of them didn't look good before you put them on. It would also be nice if there was a supply of toilet paper in the house.

It was simply wonderful, the house is beautiful and we really liked the location a little away from the town in the countryside - it was perfect. There were 11 of us, so sometimes one more shower upstairs would have been convenient, but it worked that way.

The house has everything you need to pamper your family.
The surrounding landscape invites you to hike.
Every now and then a brass band comes and even plays music for the guests, but only if there is a wedding taking place at the location next door. 😉

The Bärenschlössle 2 holiday apartment is very comfortably furnished and we had plenty of space for 7 people. We were able to switch off really nicely. The well-equipped kitchen also enabled us to always cook for ourselves in the evenings. The only thing missing was a filter coffee machine, as only a fully automatic coffee machine was available. So we had to brew it ourselves 🙂 We would love to come back.

Very spacious accommodation in a historic building, lovingly decorated;
large kitchen with plenty of dishes. The location by the forest with a game reserve and within walking distance of the Freudenstadt market square is fantastic! Unfortunately, the Bärenschlössle is not recommended for people who are sensitive to noise. During our week-long vacation, two weddings took place in the event barn next door and the songs were still easy to hear even at four in the morning.
All in all, we would still come back!

The stay was actually very nice. However, we were not aware that weddings were taking place in the neighboring event barn on Friday and Saturday. This should be communicated before booking. The bedrooms in this direction were very disturbed by music and drunk guests until the early hours of the morning, which was met with little understanding by the manager. A pity.

We arrived as a group of 7 and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner. We were very enthusiastic about the house, it is very quiet, surrounded by meadows and forests. The facilities were great, we didn't miss anything. We all had our own room, some with a double bed, others as shared rooms. All rooms were clean and decorated with decoration.
On the upper floor there were a total of 3 showers and 2 toilets, downstairs there were another 2 toilets and a shower and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. For us, the kitchen was the heart of the house as well as one of the three rooms. From the house you can hike directly to waterfalls and a swimming lake. We also went to the bakery every morning or went to the beautiful city for dinner in the evening. However, we do have one flaw: a clothesline wouldn't be bad, then you don't always have to turn on the dryer in the heat we had. Maybe we didn't find it, you always get lost in the house ;) We'll definitely be back! Thank you Achim and many thanks to the Roth family

We had a wonderful holiday in the Bärenschlösschen with the entire family. Enough space to relax inside and outside. But also in the surrounding area. However, we were also lucky that there were no celebrations in the neighboring barn. So we had total peace. Achim was a very relaxed host.

Location, atmosphere, facilities, everything was top

We stayed at the Bärenschlössle with the family for a week and we really enjoyed it. The house is excellently equipped and the surroundings are fantastic. The hosts look after the guests in a very friendly manner and are always available to answer any questions. The only point of criticism is the lack of blackout on the windows, which is particularly difficult with children. It's definitely not the last time we've been here and we'll be happy to come back.

This was exactly the right address for our family reunion; The large living room with kitchen invites you to cook, enjoy, entertain and laze around together; The offer was complete with a table tennis table and a new gas grill and the weather was perfect too. The contact person was always available on site, very attentive and helpful. We'd love to come back.

The accommodation is perfect for a family vacation. Beautiful location with large property and great views of Freudenstadt. The house is equipped with everything and has a kitchen that is truly a focal point where everyone feels comfortable. Enough space to retreat to in the cozy living room corners and beautiful bedrooms round everything off. Unfortunately the weather wasn't perfect, but in this house you can easily survive rainy days.

Despite the rainy weather, we had a great time in this beautiful house and the wonderful surroundings. Ideal for excursions or hikes directly from the house. There are many options in Freudenstadt, we would love to come back!!!!

Hello Mr. Beck, I was supposed to write to you about various things that were missing. I also checked my emails and none of you were there! So, I should remind you that a music system would be nice, we didn't see any smoke detectors in the bedrooms either. 🙂 The firewood that I have already paid for as well as the dogs where I paid for 5 and only 2 were there, I should remind you that you will refund me! Just for your information so that you can do something about it early on, there were moths in my friends' closet, they were in the three-bed room next to the single toilet! The house exceeded our expectations. Furnished and tastefully decorated with a lot of passion and attention to detail. There are interesting pictures in every room that are special but fit the house and the Black Forest and we really liked them. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very large. The kitchen was great, plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. In the princely atmosphere we felt like we had gone back a few hundred years and enjoyed our time to the fullest. We would like to come back and will recommend the house to others.

The holiday home is furnished with love and you don't have to go without anything...everything you need is there...a bakery, various restaurants and shops are within walking distance...you can safely leave your car behind. The hiking trails start right at the house and the game enclosure right next to the house is a great addition...we can definitely recommend the house...

The manor house at Hofgut Bärenschlössle was the perfect holiday home in the Black Forest for us. The house is in top condition. All rooms are lovingly furnished and clean down to the smallest corner. We were a group of 9 friends in the house and felt really comfortable. There was nothing missing. The kitchen was a dream and the huge table in the open living area was one of the many highlights in the house for us. The different rooms with comfortable sofas gave us cozy and long evenings. We would like to come again. Thank you for the great time in the Black Forest.

We felt like the lords of the castle! It is very spacious, clean and everything is there. We were just "unlucky" that there were two weddings that weekend and some of us had our night's sleep disturbed. But that's what we got into

Great holiday home, great facilities! Had a great time. Gladly again. The only thing when we arrived was that the house was freezing cold. All the heaters were turned off so it was pretty cold and uncomfortable until the next day

The facilities were great. Thanks to the many rooms and bathrooms, staying with 12 people is no problem at all. The kitchen and the long food table were of course an eye-catcher and rounded off the stay for cozy, shared meals.

There is a star deduction for the equipment because the children's bed consisted of a travel cot with the standard mattress, which is very hard and hardly springy. You might have too

I was able to celebrate my 40th birthday in the Bärenschlösse and the house is great.
The property manager was also great, super friendly and everything went smoothly. The only thing that bothered me a bit was that there were no curtains
